Had an amazing stay in 28 The Links Cottage. The location is second to none, with a quick walk into the town and beach. Some fabulous restaurants and bars on your doorstep as well as ice cream parlours for the sweet tooths! Particularly enjoyed Hugos bakery, we got a fresh sourdough loaf every morning thanks to the bakery being a stones through away! The property is absolutely perfect. It has everything you need, it's extremely clean and tidy, lovely coastal/ beach vibes and is really well equipped. The TV had YouTube/ Netflix and there is a Nespresso machine in the kitchen which was much appreciated! The bed was one of the comfiest mattresses I have ever slept on! There is a spacious bathroom with a really powerful shower which was great after a day at the beach! The host Maria is very attentive, she answered all of our questions without delay and she really went out of her way for us and was beyond helpful. Would highly recommend Maria and this beautiful spot in Lahinch. We had a wonderful week, thank you so much Maria for being such a kind host.

The views were so beautiful. You really need a few days here to take it in and really appreciate overlooking all the farms. The Hot tub was so cute (for 2), the bathtub incredible, The bed was so comfortable and had the same views in giant windows. The host provided goodies and shampoo/soap and delicious nespresso and tea! Home as washer no dryer. The rustic decor was charming: real wood furnishings, slate floor, etc. We drove to an easy few min to Doolin to enjoy dinner and pubs. We used it as a base for cliffs, doolin and galway.

It has great potential but over the last few years it has disimproved. It used to be much more buzzy, with many more shops and venues open. Still, it is close to so many lovely places to swim and walk. Monks was ok, we got shunted out of table as bigger group was coming in, and the food was just ok. Went to brillant old bar, O Laughlinns I think. Great, packed, lovely atmosphere, atmospheric, but nearly had a heart attach at the price of two very good whiskeys. Couldnt do this too often. Far less tourists around, I wonder why?

What a lovely town. Went into Eugens for a whiskey tasting would highly recommend it. Eugene is a great guy thought me how to drink Irish Mist correctly, it was delicious. Paid a visit to the Falls hotel had a lovely irish coffee. The view of the cascades from the hotel are stunning. Attended an after wedding event at Pot Duggans what a great place. Friendly, fun lots to do in a beautiful area. In two days we visited the Burren Smokehouse, went on the Doolin Ferry to see the Cliffs of Moher and Harry Potter's Cave, we visited Doolin Cave (a highlight), we played pitch and putt - twice, we listened to traditional Irish music in McGanns which had a great food and really fun atmosphere and fab staff. We had a drink at Gus O'Connors (again very friendly and fun) and lovely fish and chips at Russell's Fish Bar. We made a quick visit to Lahinch and the beach on the easy return trip to Shannon Airport.
