The house is new, clean and beautiful. And there is a place where you can relax and enjoy the seaview nearby. The time I spent here is comfortable and chill. Since the duration I stay is low season, the guest house offering me free tour guide for the whole island and free snorkeling plus GoPro video and photo. The boss and the staff here are really, really nice and kind.

This place is absolutely stunning! They’ve done an amazing job preserving the island’s natural beauty, and everything is focused on sustainability. The staff are super polite and professional they take care of every little detail from the moment you land in Malé. The boat ride is quite long but so worth it. We were welcomed with drinks and cold towels, and had a quick briefing to get to know the hotel concept and all the activities. Luis and Lucy were always around and ready to help with anything we needed! The buffet was incredible every single day fresh, healthy, and super tasty. Big shoutout to Ridoy and Rassika, who made us feel right at home every time we went to grab something to eat 🤍 I had the best massage in their spa, it’s a beautiful and clean space. The tours were amazing, especially the Ecoboo cruise. Inke and Ayan made everything more fun and captured the best memories for us with awesome photos and videos. Can’t recommend it enough I’ll definitely be coming back!

    In our villa the accessibility to any kind of facilities were perfect. There were deliberately planned what we need and where those should be. For example there were three shower in every portions we probably need them. The design of the villa was modern and uptodate and lovely .. There were a special personnel for each guest who manage all the stuff and our plans during the resident. All staff and house keepers were so polite, kind and trained to be warm and caring.. Maldives is one of the must visit places in the world. Our trip was at April and the weather was perfect. Our stay in Villa Nautica coincided with the rebranding of the hotel. There were a enjoyable ceremony on that time, near the ocean view of the infinity pool, designed in a lovely afternoon, with lights, party decorations and a lot of tasty snacks and cocktails and live music. The hotel overally had many sites to discover and many entertainments. The spa was exceptional and lovely. We came here for our wedding anniversary. Naresh, our guest host came to meet us. He took us to water villa, it was really beautiful You have to see closely to understand😍 We were there for a night and after that we had reserved the beach villa with a private pool. wowww, when we entered the beach villa, everything was stylish and modern and super luxury and, few meters away was the beautiful and crystalline ocean. Naresh, thank you for organizing everything perfectly I intensly recommended Villa Nautica (Paradise Island ) to every one👍

    visiting the Maldives is a dream for anyone and I knew that the ayada maldives resort would go beyond that dream. Since I made the reservation a year ago and started contacting the hotel, I noticed the difference. Highly qualified staff to provide our adventure with a unique experience. From our departure point to the island it took exactly 36 hours … in Male we had a completely pleasant reception by the Ayada team who took us to the airport lounge, carried our bags and boarded us to the island. Upon disembarking, another big surprise was waiting for us to take us by boat to our final destination, arriving there, a warm welcome and Iqu, our assistant for a week, was waiting for us. Nothing could have been more perfect. Our villa inside the ocean and overlooking the sunset was perfect, the crystal clear water invited us every day for a swim. The wonderful restaurants, the employees always with a smile and ready for a good morning, good afternoon, good night. It was worth every hour until we got here … worth every penny invested. We chose the hotel because we wanted the island further away from Male … ​​our choice was the best possible !! Ayada surprised us … she welcomed us and conquered us … she deserves all the accolades of the best hotel in the Maldives in all aspects !!! thank you for the wonderful week you have given us.     Advice for those who’s coming : bring your own water bottle, or you need to pay $19 to buy one. Everything was amazing! This is our first stay in Maldives and we definitely want to come back! The room was very clean and beautiful. Staffs would come to clean our room twice a day!! Food is a variety of international buffet three meals a day and very delicious. The house reef in front of our room is beyond expectation. We snorkel everyday (4 days) and found this huge school of fishes just right in front of our room (around snorkel station no.7, image attached), we even saw reef sharks and sting ray just by snorkeling! Scuba diving here was also spectacular. Madivaru is very beautiful and indeed a famous dive site. Staffs of the diving center was very accommodating and took care of us very well. This resort is self-sustainable and still very rich in nature. We happily pay environmental taxes if the resort would keep up to this high level of environmental preservation.

    One day is plenty.

    One day is plenty. You can walk to the main square and all the main sights in one day. Entry to mosques is limited to certain times of the day (1-2) hour window so plan accordingly. Food/drink is fairly pricey and allow for 10% service charge and 17% Tax on published prices. Most places price in USD but will convert to local currency (at the prevailing exchange rate).

    Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are friendly and welcoming. The weak point is definitely the services. When it comes to hotels, don’t expect luxury. In my opinion, for what you actually get, it’s overpriced. One big plus is that Maafushi gives you more freedom. You’re not tied to a resort – you can move around, explore, go jogging if you want, and enjoy the island on your own terms. You can book trips easily, there’s stuff to do, and it doesn’t feel restrictive.

    One of the most beautiful places in the world.

    One of the most beautiful places in the world. Wherever you look, you'll find postcard worthy landscape. The ocean was very clean, ideal for snorkling and apparently it was a good spot for surfing as well. All in all, a must see.

    Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there. Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.

    I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!

    We LOVED Dhiffushi!

    We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!

    Dhigurah is a beautiful island with a long sandy beach, without sunbeds and umbrellas, the palm trees lining the island will provide you with sufficient shade. At the end of the island there is a sandbank, which can be reached by walking, cycling or scooter through the tropical forest. There are several shops with groceries, souvenirs and restaurants on the island. There is a lot of accommodation in different places on the island with quality services. The local people are smiling and friendly. There is a hospital, a police station, the Maldivian office and mosques on the island. Waste from the island is taken to the forest, where it is burned in the afternoon, we only felt the smoke from the waste when there was a strong wind. You can get to the island from the airport by speedboat, the journey takes about two hours, if you suffer from nausea, I recommend taking anti-nausea medicine, you will definitely need it when the waves are bigger. There is a coral reef around the island, you can see many colorful fish, we were lucky to see a turtle and a small shark. There are resorts on the surrounding atolls, to which seaplanes fly daily. What we didn't like on the island is the massive construction of new accommodation facilities, I'm afraid that in a short time, there will be more tourists on the island than locals and the island will lose its authenticity and beauty.

    We liked almost everything.

    We liked almost everything. Our vacation was relaxing and beautiful. The beach was perfect, with soft almost white sand and warm, clear blue water. The bungalow was was really cozy with sun set view. Snorkeling we saw sharks, turtles, so many amazing small fishes. And they were almost near our place. We had wonderful neighbors and made new friendships.

    The people that work there in the island are very genuine...

    The people that work there in the island are very genuine and polite and helpful, always smiling. They make your time there very pleasant. Don’t forget to tip them. Jr and Anastasia from the club house coordinators are amazing and multi talented individuals. Don’t miss their daily sport activities by the pool.

    An amazing snorkelling beach -no boats or travel required -just thousands of colourful fish and turtles, perfect white sand and palm trees. The concession stand sold delicious, fresh-picked fruit-watermelon, papaya, bananas. We loved the Coccoa beach restaurant and the Black Anchor and the Mango House had fabulous lattes and desserts.
