- From $204.22 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 2,098 reviewsWe truly enjoyed our stay here. Of four nights, only one night the car parking inside our lot wasn’t available (we came back after 10pm), so we had to park in the other car parking of the hotel, but there was always parking g while we were there in May. It was a very spacious apartment for the two of us, super comfortable, everything was very clean, the kitchen super well equipped (we cooked out breakfasts there), it has a small laundry… and the design and layout of the room were perfect: the beautiful views of the lake could be seen from every area. Having breakfast looking at the lake was a great experience. Great location super close to everything. Just loved itGuest review byYaraPanama
- From $1,774.58 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 53 reviewswe had been traveling for some weeks when we reached eichardts, so having laundry facilities in our apartment suite were an unexpected bonus. The nice kitchen also gave us the ability to cook some food items which we like without going out to a restaurant. The locaction of eichardts at the waterfront promenade was beautiful and got us close to all the local bars and tours. We were served a liesurly but excellent free breakfast in the eichardts bar. Great and helpful hotel staff. Queenstown on the wharf is so beautiful, dont go to the uphill accomodationsGuest review byJohnUnited States
- From $178.95 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 2,468 reviewsBefore even the seeing the room, during check in I mentioned in passing I need to figure out a pharmacy or something for my tooth as I was having dental issues, and the receptionist without any prompt wrote down names, phone numbers and addresses of 3 dentist to help me. We were upgraded to a suite which was massive. Only down side we didn’t have time to check out the hot tub but we had a view of it and it looked very nice.Guest review byGrewalCanada
- From $57.36 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.2Good - What previous guests thought, 491 reviewsWe booked a cabin for 3 nights. Us and our 2yr old and 4yr old. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. It has a lovely little deck area then onto a lawn which was perfect for the children. A playground in the main camping area also fab. Toilets and showers really close. Everything was clean and the owners are lovely. We had such a great time.Guest review byImogeneNew Zealand

It's easier to get a taxi or the bus in to Queenstown no parking very busy place but lots to offer friendly atmosphere recommend The board walk at the warf happy hour 3-5 coctails $12 each and beer and wine as well then hope on depending on season either the Ernslaw or the spirit of Queenstown go to Walter peak buffet lunch or dinner Devine experience for sure go hungry. And farm demonstration as well very worth the money .Guest review byCorina - 10.0
Excellent city with lovely warm people.
Excellent city with lovely warm people. The attractions are well planned within budget. The variety of food options is astonishing and available throughout, accommodating all pocket types. The Botanic Gardens are must visit especially for families. The tram ride is another must do activity as it covers historic and culturally important places with the tram rider giving excellent insights. The gondola is another activity which is amazing must do. The panoramic views are truly breath taking. A must visit city!Guest review byApeksha - 10.0
I adore Lake Tekapo. Views for days. Good hot pools.
I adore Lake Tekapo. Views for days. Good hot pools. Peaceful. A decent serious hike up Mt John to the Observatory Cafe or an easier one up to Cowes Lookout, both with amazing views. I've been going for years - still small but a good supermarket now and more eateries. It is getting busier and pricey, both accommodation and eateries. On the road to Queenstown so an easy stopover. Go with a car if you can - a side trip into Aoraki Mt Cook and walks up the Hooker Valley are worth it.Guest review byHeatherAustralia - 10.0
Wanaka is a great little town.
Wanaka is a great little town. Primarily a stepping stone to the ski resorts. However we did not go the the resorts. We did do a day trip to Blue Pools and the nearby waterfalls (Thunder falls). the drive was scenic and the pools were well worth having a look at. Thunderfalls is certainly a photo spot as well. We circled back to wanaka and had a look at the Wanaka tree. Its a great picture just prior to sunset as the branches of the tree have and orangy color to them.Guest review byStevoAustralia - 8.0

Love the experiences at Otago peninsula, blue penguins tour and St Claire beach. The city I didnt see much to be honest. And unfortunately I had a bad experience booking with Trip advisor/ Viator for the Castle and Gardens booking, I booked through the app and the company they sold has been closed for 2 years. So I waited 40 minutes just to then be told by the Isite staff that that company has t been operating for a long time, so very disappointed.. im waiting for the refund but the experience was ruined. I can take back that time and I couldn’t book another tour bc I already expended the money and Im not sure I will hace a refund, and I had little time algo bc I only had the morning free.Guest review byBelenAustralia - 10.0
What a delightful little town!
What a delightful little town! The glow worm caves were an absolute highlight, especially with the stunning waterfall inside—such a magical experience. The town is clean, walkable, and full of charming little shops and scenic walks. Plus, the grocery store was top-notch for anything you might need. I highly recommend visiting this hidden gem!Guest review byElaineCanada - 10.0
Mount Cook Village is a great location if you are planning...
Mount Cook Village is a great location if you are planning to do some walks in the area. We did the Hooker Valley Track, Sealy Tarn Track, and the Tasman Glacier View after which we were exhausted and travelling to another location would have been a bit much. Staying at the village was the best decision. At night you can travel slightly out to get the most exceptional views of stars and in the morning you wake up to unbelievably beautiful views of mountains. If you are lucky you might just get some snow.Guest review byWaldoNew Zealand - 8.0

Nelson has a lot of speciality stores and a lot of food options. The Markets in the weekends are not for those looking for a bargain but do support local and NZ made and although some were costly, there was a lot of selection of goodies. Stoke the Bach Restaurant was staffed with lovely young girls, and the food was excellent and value for money The Arden Monaco where we stayed has limited room facilities and is not staffed outside of working hours, but the beds are comfortable and with very dark woodwork old paintings and very heavy doors, the facility was well equipped with heat pumps and hot water.Guest review byKimNew Zealand - 8.0

Not much to do in Oamaru, will recommend visiting the quaint museums, Oamaru heritage museum (pay/donate as you wish) and steampunk museum (NZD$15/pax). both were interactive and we enjoyed it with the helpful stuff. the day was a cloudy and rainy so we opted out of visiting the penguins - they have a live youtube stream of the penguins coming home which we watch. We did visit the penguins tour during the day, which was open to public and saw some fur seals relaxing. To watch the penguins coming home, it's NZD$45 per pax, which we thought was a little expensive. + the weather being bad, we decided to watch them online instead.Guest review byVerenaSingapore - 10.0
Scenic, lots to do and locals are friendly.
Scenic, lots to do and locals are friendly. Really easy to get around the town centre on foot, everything is close together. Recommend stopping at some cellar doors in Waipara on the way through if you are coming from Christchurch. We hiked, went quad biking with Hanmer Springs Attractions, visited the Hanmer Springs Pools, dined out and shopped at various locations.. We even hired a Rocket bike to do a lap of town and get our bearings. We drove up the Hanmer Springs Ski Area but unfortunately, lack of snow and windy weather prevented us having a day of snow sports. Charming townGuest review byHannahNew Zealand
