- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 320 reviewsAn awesome property and perfect for our weekend stay with family & friends to celebrate a special birthday. The accommodation is within walking distance of both Mudbrick & Cable Bay so a great location. The Lodge is fabulous - very comfortable and 'home from home' with regards to everything you need. The beds were really comfy and entertainment area superb - we made great use of it with our friends who were staying in the other three 1-bed units next door.Guest review byBeccaNew Zealand
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 238 reviewsWe had such an amazing stay, definitely recommend! Excellent communication from Steve, easy instructions provided to find the rental car as well as the accomodation. Beautiful, clean unit we stayed in. Had everything we needed (small fridge, basic kitchen equipment, towels). Amazing views. The outdoor tub and sauna were beautiful and great to use! They also provided great recommendations for places to eat and things to see/visit. We really enjoyed our stay.Guest review byAshleyCanada

The hosts were kind and very accommodating offering fresh lettuce from their personal garden to a complimentary bottle of local wine. - Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 150 reviewsJules and Bruce were very welcoming and hospitable. Great to be picked up from the ferry and they were happy to run us around locally if required. Really helpful suggestions on where to go to see and eat and walks etc. Very comfortable room with everything you need for breakfast but no kitchen per se. Nice touch to have milk and a bottle of fizz in the fridge.Guest review byPeterUnited Kingdom

Waiheke is amazing there are lovely beaches to visit and great wineries and tours, every one we meet was super helpful. the bus service is great you can even visit wineries by getting a bus! Great destination all year around, excellent walking trails or place to explore by foot as well. Nice restaurants in Oneroa and takeaways.Guest review byBradAustralia - 8.0

Probably not a popular destination compared to others on the island, suited us though. Good range of shops. The Woolworths supermarket was a bonus as far as buying groceries for the motel room. The RSA is a friendly destination, and provided takeaway meals for the weary traveller to take back to their motel. Some nice fashion shops worth a look too. A minor hassle was the amount of road noise heard in the motel room (probably sounded louder with the motel being situated uphill a short distance from the road). Not a problem at night.Guest review byPatriciaNew Zealand - 10.0
Sensational location on the cliff.
Sensational location on the cliff. Everything very clean and all necessary things sufficiently available. The beds are good, very nicely furnished. Thanks to the host for the helpful tips. We were there at the beginning of April and it was not hot. In real summer it can heat up a lot as there are many windows. There is a mobile cooling unit in the living room (with a hose to the outside when the window is open. In the bedrooms only fan. We would stay there again outside the hot season.Guest review byAnonymous - 6.0

The villa had an amazing view but would suggest just booking a Waiheke Island Resort room direct, where you would pay less than half the nightly fee for similar villa and have FULL use of their facilities. These included a swimming pool, Spa pool and mini golf.Guest review byStephanieNew Zealand - 10.0

Very private location and the two Units are away from any other houses, etc. Very quiet and peaceful. Spotless too! Parking was 25 feet from the front door. Had a wonderful lunch at Mudbrick Winery and another at The Oyster Inn in Oneroa.Guest review byJenniferUnited States - 10.0

It’s a beautiful place, the views, pool, spa and bbq area are all stunning, such a lovely spot. It’s easy to get around Waiheke from here, by bus as well, we went to Ostend, Oneroa etc and had great food and walks. We enjoyed everything and it was very tidy and clean. The host Dan, was very accommodating and helpful with whatever we needed. Recommend!Guest review byLindaNew Zealand - 10.0

Amazing and 2nights just enough. Covered it by renting a scooter with Island Scoot. Great way to explore. Great breakfast at Frenchies, lunch at Two Three Seven in Onetangi, fabulous wine and vineyard at MudbrickGuest review byPatriciaUnited States - 10.0

Close to regular buses going to Onetangi and other direction to Oneroa and ferry. Ostend has seating’up town’, shade under sail with tables and grass under foot, big interesting Saturday market, large RSA,Woolworths supermarket, clothing shop and interesting boutique style gift shop, several more and a petrol station and eating out places. It’s pleasant walking around paths off road, the odd local has put a seating bench outside front gate for the public- beautiful views of sea.Easy short walk to The Causeway and moored old quaint boats. Our family group came for family wedding, stayed at Waiheke Motel in four studios, Ostend.Awesome.Guest review byGabrielNew Zealand - 8.0
