This trip was for our granddaughter and her friend - they are both 12, almost 13 so lots of stuff... Stopped at Lambert's in Ozark for late lunch/early dinner. As always - good food and great "throwed" rolls. Shopping at the outlet mall and down at Branson Landing. Girls did Parakeet Pete's zip line over Taneycomo. Zip Lining at Wolfe Mountain. Mountain coaster and Vigilante zip line at Shepherd of the Hills. Challenge course and zip lines at Fritz's Adventure. Early dinner at Pisghetti's (my granddaughter's favorite place to eat and this time the food was actually pretty good). Pizza from Ozark Mountain Pizza on 265 - pizza was very good, loaded with toppings. Afternoon at WhiteWater (not so great - weather moved in and closed the park early). 13 hours at Silver Dollar City - park wasn't too busy so the girls rode all the coaster mulitple times - the Outlaw Run 5 times in a row. Finished one ride and went to the gate and got right back on - no waiting. Isn't always like that - we lucked out. Different activities on different days, for the most part, so the order of things is not chronological. Stayed at Pointe Royale in a very nice condo. Pointe Royale is a little out of the way but a nice place to stay at - nice pool for the girls to go to in the evening. I am very familiar with the area (lived there for a while), so getting around for me is easier than for most tourists. I would really recommend spending some time learning the routes (red, yellow, and blue) and some of the back ways around (like Highway 265). Makes it easier than fighting the normal routes tourists take. Would have been tough to fit much more in for the five days we were there. With all the activities, it was expensive, but worth it for the girls. They had a blast.Guest review byTimothyUnited States - 10.0

We go to Branson at least once a year. When you go you must see the Sight and Sounds show, Reza and SIX. We did some things this year we haven't in the past, but other than being so hot it was a great time.Guest review byEckertUnited States - 10.0
We really enjoyed our time.
We really enjoyed our time. We were only there for 3 days, we did not attend any shows or really even anything on "the strip", but we explored and had a great time. The Landing and Downtown are a must!Guest review byTiffanyUnited States - 8.0

Go to the College of the Ozarks. Phenomenal place.
Go to the College of the Ozarks. Phenomenal place. Loved the lodge but also campus with mill, greenhouses and stained glass area. Saw it on Instagram and were glad we made the trip over there. Outlets were nice. Also loved the downtown area. Very quaint/cute with flea markets, old 5 & dime, & shops by the water. All walkable. If you have mobility issues, you won't like the hills. Also get a map and follow the trolley routes. Can bypass a lot of the bumper to bumper traffic. Great restaurants to try: Getting Basted BBQ & Local Flavor home cooking. Last one had live music. Wonderful time.Guest review byReneUnited States - 10.0

My favorite part of the trip was Dogwood Canyon which was 35 minutes away from Branson. In Branson we did so many things tho. Silver Dollar City, Adventure Seekers, Butterfly Palace, Aquarium at the Boardwalk, Moonshine Beach, and Shepherd of the Hills. We did shopping at The Landing, Tanger Outlet, and a couple thrift stores. We stayed at Green Gables Inn that was a super price and a great location to almost everything we did. We enjoyed eating at Apple Bees, Red Lobster, Billy Gail's (had a wait time), and Scooters Sports Grill. Got coffee at Dunkin and Starbucks. Everything was so close, being from a rural town in Wisconsin, it was very nice and convenient.Guest review byMascote - 10.0

Branson is a family-friendly city that we bring our family to again and again. This trip we spent two days at Silver Dollar City and one day at White Water. We also enjoyed checking out the rocks, beads, and jewelry at the Plum Bazaar in downtown Branson and going to the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe production by the Truth Travelers. On other trips, we've also enjoyed mini-golfing at Coral Reefs, visiting Branson Landing, Dick's 5 and 10, Moonshine Beach, the fish hatchery, Fritz's Adventure, Hurts Donuts, Tanger Outlets, Sight and Sound, and more.Guest review byBrettUnited States - 8.0

Branson is a great vacation destination for families and couples. There is so much to do in the area including: music/variety/magic shows, museums, several shopping centers, souvenir shops, mini-golf, go-carts, a wide variety of quality restaurants, the original ferris-wheel from the Navy Pier in Chicago, Historic Downtown Branson, zoos, the Branson Belle Dinner Cruise Showboat, Silver Dollar City Amusement Park....among many other attractions. There is a wide variety of accommodations to choose from as well, from inexpensive budget motels to high-end luxury hotels...along with condos, town-homes, B&Bs and VRBOs. The only downside (for me) is that there are only a handful (or less) of local, "neighborhood-type" bars that aren't part of a larger restaurant. In fact, I've only found 3...and they're kind-of "hidden gems".Guest review byParrotHeadUnited States - 10.0

The trip to Branson was my 1st ever.
The trip to Branson was my 1st ever. It was during a holiday weekend so the traffic was very busy, almost like pull over and walk everywhere need to go. Enjoyed the attractions, museums, activities Branson had to offer. The ferris wheel and high rise loop go-cart track was super fun! Enjoyed the aquarium center, learned a lot of facts, saw a lot of new interesting aquatic life that didn't know about, also saw a big beautiful sea turtle. The Dolly Parton Stampede dinner &show is a must if you go to Branson! Gettin Basted was a local BBQ joint that an off the hook sandwich so damn tasty! A few other local restaurants served very tasty meals.Guest review byHeidiUnited States
