on the beach, expect constant stalking and harassment on a whole new level (and i've been to 70 countries including 7 other countries in Africa) people will rudely interrupt your conversations or meddle even when you tend to children in case to offer their (sometimes illegal) goods or services, and become angry if ignored, or just keep standing/walking next to you, sometimes in groups, sometimes to the hotel door or whatever other destination, trying to imitate your language all the while if you talk back to them and allow them to tag along, they will demand money for their time/effort afterwards so definitely not recommended for families with kids, and generally you have to be tough to be able to enjoy the (very dirty) beach despite all this

Nungwi is probaly the nicest beach in Zanzibar. Its not overcrowded and yet has enough restaurants and bars. Alway take care when walking along the beach, when you try to return you might not be able to due to high and low tide. The beach and the resorts are beautiful. People are amazing! This situation with the Masai though its literally unbearable. They don't know when to stop bothering you. I am there to enjoy the sun and the beach not to be harassed by them, after I kindly explained that I don't wish to talk, have a good day, they literally follow me and don't leave me alone. Nungwi used to be a small fishersmen's town, but it is now buzzing with bars, hotels and restaurants and lots of activities to do. If you want to go on a snorkeling trip, or have other fun activities. Then this is your spot. I appreciated the beautiful ful of the ocean - with the clear blue waters and the fishermen working.

What i liked most is the Staff who were very caring especially when my daughter fell ill there did their best to help her. Food and ambience were just great not forgetting about the friendly owners, I would definately recommend a friend of even family members at your property, I have nothing to complain of.

The service was amazing, food delicious beach the whitest sand I’ve ever seen , sea the most turquoise, quite no hassle like other beaches just idyllic. Basilisa and Nasir are the perfect hosts, they were starting Sunday events while I was there, a moon rise dinner and then lazy Sunday afternoons with acoustic music… fantastic food, set menu… yummm

Shout out to William who spoke with us about what to do/see during our time in Zanzibar. The view from our room was beautiful and the hotel grounds were spectacular. It was also perfectly safe and very interesting to walk in to Nungwi town either down the beach or via the main road. The Riu app worked fine and we were able to eat in each speciality restaurant during our stay...:)

All inclusive literally means "All inclusive" in that there were no hidden costs, food served was really delicious and the availability of snacks and drinks the whole day was a bonus. The hotel has an amazing beach with white sands and azure ocean, it was a really amazing view, especially at sunset! The five pools, kids activities, water gymnastics and other sports activities really added value to our stay.
