The restaurant was good both with a really good standard menu and the special Philippino street food was excellent. Its location and views are very good. The four poster bed room was really nice.

Leek is a lovely market town that has retained many original features. You can see money is being invested in the area and it is a good place to travel out from to see the sights. There are many places of interest, walks and waterfalls and of course the peak district itself. So many pubs to choose from all stocking locally brewed ales

This is quite a lively but friendly town with everything you need when you are away from home. Good Esso garage and shop with easy access. The roads are busy but manageable even in torrential rain. I stayed just outside of Leek but a lovely area of the countryside.

Leek is a market town full of character. Interesting architecture and lots of small independent shops to explore.
We explored Leek on foot and found a park to relax in. There are some good restaurants and we can recommend Napoli restaurant with a good range of pizza and pasta dishes.

There was so much more to do than we anticipated with the lake to explore and lots of playgrounds, markets and walks. There is also the railway which is a really nice way to visit the lake and make the most of the sightseeing for little legs.

We visited Derbyshire to visit The Potteries, so didn't spend much time in Leek.
As there wasn't anything gluten free on hotel menu that took my fancy , we drove 7 minutes up the road to The Pack Horse inn, Crowdecote. Lovely meal in a cosy old pub amongst pretty scenery.
The 3 Horse Shoes is a great place for weddings. Superb gardens.
We stopped off at Buxton Spa Town on way back home. Beautiful Georgian buildings and The Pavillion on gorgeous park. Worth a visit.

The roads are not too busy and the countryside is lovely and scenic so it feels like you are on holiday even if you are working.
It looks like a ramblers or walkers paradise and there are several campsites. Hotel prices are comparable and there is a great Esso garage with a spar shop which offers nectar points. I saw an Aldi store which looked busy but I didn't have time to explore.
Short break to visit ScareFest at Alton Towers. The apartment was very close to Leek town centre but had a private parking space, and is within walking distance to good local eateries and pubs. A cash point and small supermarket was within walking distance, with a larger one 5min drive away. It was very clean, and all the facilities you would need for a short break. Host provided excellent instructions on how to find and the property and get access to it and the car park.
The apartment was so clean, modern and a 2 minute walk to the town centre. You can tell great care has gone into making the apartment comfortable for anyone. Would definitely rebook when next in the area. Also the host was very quick to respond to any queries I had and made instructions clear on how to access the apartment too. I would recommend anyone wanting to stay in leek to stay here.
Brilliant location in Leek for trips in peak district and Leek town centre itself. Only tiny issue we had was parking and had to park up the road and street parking. Wasn't that bad tho but maybe worth mentioning, I don't know. Host were great and instructions were clear for when we arrived. Would stay again no problem
Absolutely beautiful apartment in the heart of Leek. Super accessible for everything. The downstairs bathroom was to die for!
So many lovely small touches throughout the apartment. Felt very homely. The host was very responsive. The only downside is I wish I could live there permanently! We’ll definitely be back.
Very modern with underground heating and excellent kitchen facilities with everything you would need. Great views across the Pennines and over to Leek. A great walk down the valley with beautiful countryside all around and yet very close to Leek and Stoke on Trent.
I felt I was getting a real N. Staffs welcome to a place which I had known and loved . The straightforward unmistakable kindness of Leek folk is pure gold. ( I now live with my wife on the slopes of the Ochil Hills in Scotland ) with best wishes, Jim.
Breakfast was great. Good quality, well cooked. Glad about parking as Leek is very hilly. The hotel carpark has quite a narrow steep entrance which is fine if you are confident or have a narrow car. It is wide enough for transits etc. Very quiet.
We liked the location and size of the property. The contact was available when we called and dealt with an issue speedily. The apartment was well laid out and had all the usual extras that you would want from a hotel
Location was excellent - central to Leek as expected and stated. It was a quirky residence, where we felt at home easily. Lots of things for young children to do. Generally it was what we expected.
We stayed here for a wedding in central Leek, so the location was awesome. Large flat with lots of space and amenities. It fit us all comfortably and we had a great stay.
Beautiful guest house, off the beaten path in a charming small English town. The bar/restaurant was fabulous and the rooms were very well equipped and welcoming.
Friendly, helpful staff. Perfect location close to town centre and people we were visiting. Has it's own parking. Would stay again if we were in the area.
