Fabulous location in Diocletian’s Palace and only a few minutes walk to the bus station and ferry port.
Excellent breakfast - lovely to have freshly cooked omelettes and scrambled eggs. Especially good when it’s warm enough to have breakfast outside. Breakfast staff very good.
We appreciated having our luggage carried to our room (as there is no lift).

Stunning Split stands proudly on the eastern shores of the Adriatic Sea, and due to its great climate is called the Mediterranean Flower. It features eclectic architecture, spectacular views and delicious cuisine.
Split is centred around the ancient Roman Palace of the Emperor Diocletian, a magnificent building constructed at the beginning of the 4th century AD and boasting limestone and marble towers, columns and courtyards. It lies in a bay decorated with white sails of yachts, as sailing is definitely Split’s big thing!
The city is full of architectural gems, one of which is St. Duje’s Cathedral, the oldest cathedral in the world, built in 305 AD and combining both Roman and Catholic influences. Nearby Varoš is a must-see, one of the city’s oldest parts, full of charming streets and beautiful houses.
Make sure you visit the Bačvice Beach and the Riva promenade, popular with locals and full of cafés and palm trees. While on the hunt for local specialities, try soparnik - wood-fired dough filled with vegetables - or local soda drinks Pipi and Orela.
So just pack your bags and head to Split Airport! Booking.com has plenty of sunny apartments, friendly guest houses and well-appointed hotels for your Split adventure.
The city is so full of history and character. We recommend doing a tour as soon as you arrive in order to familiarize yourself with what else you would like to see. We did the 'Split Walking Tour with History Professor' and it was fantastic. He shared a lot of advice about what to see and we followed everything he suggested and had a fabulous time. We would definitely recommend a visit to Klis fortress which is a little out of town and can be visited by bus or taxi. We also had a roast lamb lunch at a local restaurant in the area of Klis called Restoran Perlica which we highly recommend. Amazing food and great value for money. Almost everyone in the restaurant were locals! We then visited the Island of Brac for a relaxing beach vacation. We could have done with one more day to visit some of the other cultural sights outside of the Diocletian palace.

I was only in split for 2-3 days which I felt was short for the location, I visited 2 Michelin star restaurants while I was there which excelled in their delivery of the food and the experience (Zinfedal was the first and the second was the traditional Konoba Fetivi). I had some street food, went out late in the evening to check out the night life and see the sunset at the church of St. Nicholas. Visiting beaches in the city or near by islands and lots of historical architectural buildings

Split is a fantastic city, with an incredible history and is beautifully maintained. Totally recommend a few days here and include a city tour to really get the best out of the place. Tons of bars, restaurants and shops to suit all budgets, but prices in the old town and Riva tend to be fairly expensive.
Stayed 3 nights in the deluxe studio apartment which certainly lived up to its name. This place is simply gorgeous. Well laid out and beautifully furnished. Plenty of room for 3 people to stay, with both a double bed and sofa bed.
The bathroom is huge with one of the best walk-in showers I've ever experienced. Great communication with the property before and during my stay, including recommendations for local restaurants. An easy walk into the old town. This was one of my favourite places to stay in 2 weeks of travelling through Croatia.
There was everything on the right place, I fell there like at home, maybe even better... People who own this place are just wonderful. You can tell them everything and talk to them at any time. And if you're lucky you can meet Kiki and Mimi (dogs).
Old Town is really close, cool restaurants and cafes, you need to try croatian ice creams and donuts but be careful, it's easy to eat too many! I am young girl and I was there alone. I fell safe tho. Thank you for everything again.
The apartment was everything you can ask for, spacious and very clean, with all necessities, and great linery, felt like home. The parking space provided helped us very much and the apartment is a few minutes walk from the old town. Overall one of the best places we stayed during our vacation in Croatia. The staff were very friendly and helpful to everything we needed. We highly recommend it.
European elegance with modern facilities in a boutique hotel. Great location. Incredible breakfast and helpful hosts/managers. Location is perfect. The only problem we had was booking.com process but the hotel handled it graciously. Definitely one of the best of many that we stayed in during our trip to Croatia.
There may not be flash exterior but as soon as you walk through the door you enter a haven. It’s then like better than a five star hotel with the staff both welcoming and professional. We had our best breakfast in Croatia here and they could not do enough to help.
