The hotel is in a convenient location. The staff at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. The place was clean and parking was easy. It had a TV with basic cable and the bed was decently comfortable.

We had a terrific stay at the Surfrider! We loved everything about it. Staff was awesome. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Very beachy vibes, which we loved! Lots of beaches to explore and lots of different hiking areas to explore. Cost to eat out is exorbitant. Spruzzos had good food, moderately priced, varied selection and outdoor dining with beach views.

Much more quiet and chilled than expected.
Much more quiet and chilled than expected. Beautiful place and some great restaurants to eat in. We loved the Paradise restaurant ( traditional American style and huge portions) and Nobu! People in general were really really friendly.

I mean... it was a little but not terrible. So if you're a light sleeper, then I would say this isn't your place. I wouldn't say it was horrible, the hotel gives you ear plugs if needed. The room was fairly small but tastefully furnished. We truly enjoyed our short time here. We tried the rooftop restaurant for both lunch and dinner. Food didn't disappoint. I loved the Thai twist in the ceviche. Drinks were creative and delicious. Would love to stay here again when I'm in Malibu.
