So peaceful, relaxing, and comfortable! The beachy decor was simple yet so attractive with beautiful light colors. The gorgeous flowers added such a colorful and beautiful scene. The pool and hot tub plus comfortable seating all around provided a variety of places to enjoy or relax. Places to sit and read either in the warm sun or in a covered shady area.

I could not see Rehoboth Beach from the rental, but we loved...
I could not see Rehoboth Beach from the rental, but we loved traveling through the residential areas and looking to the homes. People in Rehoboth are very active; lots of biking, jogging and walking. I don't know the names of the beach we went to on our first day, but it was halfway between Rehoboth and Dewey. We went to Rehoboth off Rehoboth Avenue on the Sunday of Memorial day, and not only were the clouds so low that one couldn't see 50 ft into the ocean, but every space on the beach and boardwalk was filled, and that was a bit unnerving, especially for my friend that has social anxiety. That night we chose to order in for Saketumi (yummy!), and relaxed with the kids. We are scheming to come back - maybe renting a house with friends - and we'll avoid the big holiday weekends!

The best vacation spot period.
The best vacation spot period. Amazing restaurants amazing drinks amazing offers amazing boardwalk. Salt air was by far the best restaurant with delicious apps, dirty martinis and huge entrees. Henelopen staff were perfect and all options were delicate and delicious like the boulablaise and oyster shooters!!! I could have 5 of those. Blue hen happy hour gave the best shrimp cocktail i ever had and if you love oysters look no furthur- this town is full of amazing oysters. The fries on the boardwalk has got to be a staple and all around this place blows other vacation spots out of the water!

The shops and town are beautiful!
The shops and town are beautiful! I loved that the hotel we stayed in had an indoor pool, hot tub and sauna/steam room options. The breakfast was awesome! It was super close to the beach. We went in off season and I absolutely loved it, not too crowded but enough to socialize. Will be going back with my kids next time!

Went at the very end of March.
Went at the very end of March. It got very windy but overall the weather was perfect for long walks on the beach and visiting the downtown shopping areas. It’s busy but not too crowded at that time of year.
The beaches themselves were gorgeous both day and night. I recommend taking the few minute drive north to Cape Henlopen State Park for those beaches as well, or take a long walk if your legs feel good. Great views of lighthouses and more.
The seafood was excellent at each location we went, but note that if you go before April, you’ll likely not be able to find steamed blue crab on the menu.

There are many shops and restaurants to chose from.
There are many shops and restaurants to chose from. This time we had a nice seafood dinner at Finns. We also stopped for a snack & drink at the Big Oyster. Both were great.
We enjoyed visiting Schellville Village on one of its last nights. This is something we'd like to try again maybe next year probably in early December as some of the vendors had already closed down when we were there.
It was also fun to see the Polar Plunge teams making their annual New Year's Day plunge at Cape Henlopen Beach.
Had late change in plans and had to move our annual trip to Rehoboth Beach in October to Sept 1 - 4 and with very few openings available from all the local hotel we selected Brighton Suites and it was an excellent choice and was much less expensive (about $700 total less for the weekend) than the hotel we usually stay at when in Rehoboth. This is our new favorite place to stay in Rehoboth Beach. Had a King Suite and it was awesome with lots of room and nice living room area.
Loved.the rate. Loved the young woman who checked us in. Loved it being pet-friendly. Room was just fine and clean. What I did not like was that the booking.com notice of this hotel had pet-friendly on the posting page and then no other mention of that as a benefit and most definitely did not mention that there was a $40 per dog fee. So, the outstanding initial rate became a just ok rate and a "why wasn't that mentioned?" negative feature for booking.com.
The motel was located on the busy Coastal Highway and was easy to access. It was close to many area restaurants and was close to the Rehoboth Beach outlets. It is only minutes from downtown Rehoboth and the beach as well. The rooms are well maintained and are clean and comfortable. The rooms have a small refrigerator and microwave, desk and flat screen television.
We’ve stayed here before and will continue to due so whenever we come to Rehoboth. Like the fact that parking and breakfast is included and we also like that we have access to beach towels and chairs for the beach and not to mention the ride to and from the beach whenever we need .
Staff is very friendly and professional .
It’s one of the best hotels in Rehoboth
We enjoyed our weekend stay. The location is great -- the hotel is located just off the highway and only a 10 minute drive to Dewey Beach or Rehoboth Beach. Close to outlets and restaurants. The property seems to be new construction. It was a good property for dogs. There is space for walking in the lot and waste stations available near the exits.
Really close to the beach and convenient for parking ($25 for the day), BUT it was crammed underneath a balcony and you have to leave your phone number and room number in case somebody is blocked in. Bathrooms did look renovated. Good for someone on a budget, but if I could do it again I'd just a room at the hotel on the same street.
Liked front desk manager s were very curious . And clean ,good attitude go about the guests satisfaction. Will like to re -iterate about the swimming pool or clean rooms this was a typo the truth is The ,"American Inn , Rehoboth beach, Delaware was the property that i intended to describe about not being up to my expectations.
Location, cleanliness of the rooms, food and kitchen staff were excellent. The hotel ambiance was a big plus, too. Knowing the history of the hotel from the display photos was helpful. After checking out, we were able to lounge around on the first floor until the opening hour of our favorite restaurant.
The staff was very accommodating, really friendly, helpful, professional and kind. The room was huge and clean. The bed was very comfortable. A refrigerator and a microwave served for our comfort. I am satisfied with our stay, I can recommend this hotel.
Great hotel. Extremely well run. Place was clean. Unlike most hotels these days, housekeeping was exceptional! Location is terrific. Within a few blocks you can reach the beach and most of the Rehoboth Beach shops and restaurants.
Staff were friendly and accommodating, especially Russ. Breakfast was more than expected with plenty of options. Hotel overall was very clean and didn't smell like a disinfectant. Easy walking distance to Fins Restaurant.
Location is the key. Room was clean . Staff was friendly .many places to eat. You have parking space per room. You walk out the room and you are on the boardwalk and beach
Room was nice. Breakfast was below average for hotels like this. The pool was tiny. Some staff was super awesome, but others were not really friendly or helpful at all.
everything. Super close to the boardwalk. The family that owns the hotel are super sweet people this will be our new go to hotel when we go to Rehobeth Beach.
No breakfast included. Location was great. We popped right on the boardwalk that was around the corner - so convenient. We would definitely stay here again.
