Besides having what we felt was the best accommodations in all of Morro Bay the gift shop on the ground level had such a wide variety of gifts and locally designed items it was absolutely the best place to purchase souvenirs to take back home!

Loved Morro Bay, but wish we'd had more time to visit other places around the area. Easy walk to shops and restaurants on main street. We especially liked Kickers (Tabitha was awesome), The Great American Fish Company, and Blue Sky Bistro. This was our first trip to the area, but it won't be our last.

Morro Bay is a charming small oceanside town. It is quiet, at least in February when we visited. The sea lions and otters are fun to watch and listen to. There are lots of restaurants and bars to chose from for going out. We loved the wine and beer choices at The Savory Palette. There is live music but not on the night we were there.

Small town, quaint relaxing beach town. Most buildings are dated but alot of renovations going on.
Tons of antique shops to visit in town some pricey.

Whale watching was exceptional! should add and Sea Lions !! hundreds of them and lots of up close Hump backs on a smallish boat. So worth taking a trip here.
The room was a perfect size, very big, loved the decor-the black carpet unique and stunning. Loved the art on the walls throughout the hotel. The view of Morro Bay rock was a treat and Im so glad my niece who traveled from across the country got to see the Rock. The beds were very comfortable, lots of pillows, and the temperature was just right. It was very clean and had a wonderful vibe to the place.

Easy to find and well situated in Morro Bay. Staff were pleasant and courteous.
Rooms were spacious, clean and well presented. Plenty of good furniture - also on the patio. Good quality essentials for the bathroom. Good choice at breakfast although no cooked items which was fine for us. Would definitely stay again.
Quality beach side hotel. For the price and location, you cant lose. We stay in Morro Bay at least 5+ times a year, and this was one of our favorite hotels. The owner was very nice and accommodating as well.
I like that it is right next to alot of shops and also close to the bars and entertainment. We stay here most of the time when we come to morro bay. The rooms with the ocean view are modern and updated.
Convenient location (by the way, Morro Bay is quite a small village, so in any case it is difficult to stay far from main streets and the riverside
