This place has a lot of potential to be really nice. The rooms appearance and layout is really nice.
The breakfast, while small and not a lot of options, still got us going in the morning. The Lynn's pastries were amazing and were the best part for us.

Scenic coastal area, nice pine trees, cute downtown, lots of restaurants and services for a small town. The nature preserve is free so do not pass this up. Close to other scenic areas including elephant seal rookery 10 miles north.

Nice property and very nice lodge.
Nice property and very nice lodge. Very clean and beautiful flowers outside. Near by downtown. The room was very nice because of clean and fire. Good beds and very nice shower. In the evening there was live music in the bar. It was nice sitting insite with the music and singing, but also nice staying in the garden sitting quit in nice corners with a fire pit.

We visit there at least once a year around our anniversary or birthday's. It's a beautiful town and we love the people that live there. We always eat at Sow's Ear and also go wine tasting at near by Paseo Robles. This town never disappoints.

Cumbria is old, sort of worn out, However everything is overpriced. Few hotels offer any type of breakfast other then room coffee machine.
Nice for a day tip. Not worth staying over for high prices of rooms and restraints.

Cambria is a cute town.
Cambria is a cute town. We thought it was just a drive thru street. But the town is larger than what you see. We walked the town and shopped. Several wine tasting shops and antique stores. We were in town for the Cambria Christmas Market, what an adventure. I am so glad we went and recommend to anybody who is in the area at Christmas time. Affordable. Shuttle pickup makes this adventure an easy leisurely stroll. We also went to the 2 cemeteries in town. The town cemetery is old and pleasingly decorated by the families.

It was an amazing place!
It was an amazing place! The environment, the peacefulness, the ocean, the helpful people, delicious breakfast and delicious complimentary wine... Everything was absolutely amazing. The location makes you feel like you're in heaven. Hotel is very clean and very comfortable. Me and my dog will definitely be back! Thank you so much for everything.
Our trip and stay in Cambria was a surprise birthday gift for my fiance, not knowing this was a place she had wanted to visit for a long time, so surely a win for me. The ambiance with the surrounding flowers and trees made the place very serene and calming. The accommodations were nice with a built in rustic feel to the property. The hostess was friendly and informative. The continental breakfast gave us a nice little start to the day.
One word: Marvellous! We had the Limerick-Room - and immediately Fell in love with it. It has everything one needs for a stay in a hotel, high quality products with an irish scent (sheepmilksoap🐑) and even a fire place (though it didnt work, butcwe didnt want to check on it)
We got a great breakfast and found water and apple cidre in the fridge, above it we got a coffeemaker.
It was just pretty nice and therefore recommendable.
The hotel is located right across from Moonstone Beach and some excellent tide pools. Sunset was stunning as we walked along the wooden path to the beach.
The room was basic but clean and the bathroom looked like it had been remodeled. The beds were comfortable. There was a good amount of room to put our suitcases. Parking was great and we pulled up to unload right at our door which is always convenient!
We were having troubles with our car rental and the staff at Cambria Pines Lodge were exceptionally helpful and supportive during this difficult time. We were stranded in Cambria without a car and the staff allowed us to check out late, use the hotel reception telephone all day, as well helped to coordinate a ride for us to the next city. We really appreciated their time, guidance, and support!
Loved the privacy and location of the property close to restaurants and loved how the staff provided you with lists of dog friendly locations for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Checkin was a smooth process and loved the convenience at paying prior to arriving. The property was so clean! It was our anniversary trip and we will definitely be back. It was so cozy!
Being near the ocean & the ability to walk along the boardwalk to see the beautiful natural habitat was priceless.
Having a warm breakfast served in the morning was grateful.
Thankful for the pet friendly hotel. Our Lilly loved the ocean air & the walk along the boardwalk.
Staff was exceptional, friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, first hotel on the loop. The rooms were booked with empty rooms on both sides, obviously not possible when busy but nice for quietness this stay. Nice upstairs deck overlooking the beach.
A pleasant hotel in charming Cambria. The room was very nice, had everything and was spotlessly clean.Bed was very comfortable. Most impressed with the AC/heat - it was a mini-split that was quiet and efficient, unlike a lot of hotel rooms.
Appreciated that the hotel was pet friendly Rooms were spacious and clean. Liked the second sink outside of the restroom. Liked the fireplace. Location was great, right on Moonstone Beach.
Perfect location in scenic cambria!
Really friendly staff and beautifully decorated rooms and reception. Particularly loved the fireplace while having my coffee in the morning.
The hotel lounge / reception and rooms were beautifully designed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast pastries and coffee was appreciated.
The room was larger than we expected, really lovely and comfortable beds, surroundings are worth a visit on their own and the hotel just added to the experience.
We have been to Cambria many times and the hotel is in an excellent location, Room was what we expected. It will be nice once housekeeping duties start again
