Huge fight directly outside my room with what looked like a hooker and her pimp. I am yet to have my deposit returned. Spoke with 2 separate employees and first one was clueless. Second one said she would handle it. I was refunded $5.55 and not even on the chime card I used for my deposit. I want my $50 deposit back

Lafayette is a great town, lots of dining options.
Lafayette is a great town, lots of dining options. The room at this facility was terrible. One light in the entire room. Bed linens looked dirty and looked to not have been changed from the previous guest. Bathroom linens were not hung on the racks and some were missing. one rack was laying behind the stool and the fasteners were still open on the wall. TV was stuffed on top of the wardrobe. Coffee pot, (No coffee) was on top of the microwave, shoved in a corner. When I dropped a pill on the floor, I found items left from previous guests between the bed and AC unit. Scary experience, Property looked nice on the outside. Room was horrible. Do not book at this facility before looking at your room!

It's exactly what you'd assume it is.
It's exactly what you'd assume it is. The neighborhoods near the Kampen Golf Course are nice. As with most cities, it's not as pedestrian friendly as it could be, but there are some sidewalk/trails to put one foot in front of the other.

People make the place.
People make the place. I found the various places I visited (restaurants, stores, gas stations, etc.) that people were cordial and took pride in their work.
Otherwise, Lafayette was pretty clean, traveling about was smooth and without hectic traffic, and the main strip offered pretty much everything a guest would want.

The only thing I really don't care for at the hotel is the toiletries they use to bath with.
We enjoyed the mall.

Lovely city, GREAT restaurants.
Lovely city, GREAT restaurants. Ya gotta go to Arni's original location, have a JR salad and pizza! (pepperoni is ground up, not in circles!) Another must is Lindo Mexico, beautiful place and awesome food!
Tour Purdue!
Take a drive out and about!
I have a family reunion every year in the area and have been staying at this hotel since the first year it was open. Love the location and the staff is always so friendly. I'm always with my 80+ year old mother and aunt and the handicap accessible room has plenty of space for all their things and walkers. They are both diabetic also and having the refrigerator and kitchen area is great for having food and supplies for blood sugar drops, etc.
The most comfortable bed I ever slept in. Those pillows are so comfortable I almost ended up leaving with two of them, but I could never do that. I took a picture of the inside of the pillow tag so I could order them. You’re staff has to be the friendliest people I’ve ever met. How is it that I’ve never run into a person that worked there that didn’t have a smile on their face? I absolutely love this hotel.
There was stains all over the sheets, big holes in the blanket, and hair in our towels. The hotel had the air set at 80°, not in our room but in common areas. It was hot and sticky if you were outside the room which made loading and unloading miserable! When I booked it said free breakfast but there was not breakfast. We will not be staying here again.
We stayed for five days and it was in a very convenient location for house-hunting in Lafayette. It's about 20 minutes from Purdue. The staff was super friendly, including Liz in the breakfast room and Damian and Jason at the front desk. There are lots of other chain hotels in the area, but Comfort Suites has the best price.
This was a beautiful hotel with VERY spacious rooms! The beds were comfortable, the kitchenette and desk area were well laid out and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast every morning was good and had a decent variety of selections that varied day to day. This was just perfect for a one week stay!
Being older We felt safe, the lady at check in desk took care of an issue we had with the A/C in our room, and did as she said she would by checking to make sure it was now working, and called to make sure we were comfy !!
will stay at your hotel again in the near future
Room was spacious and clean. Hotel is close to Walmart and several restaurants (walking distance), which is a big bonus.
Breakfast was awesome! Too bad it's only until 9 am, because I'm not an early riser so I missed breakfast my second night there.
The staff were extremely friendly and the rooms were clean. This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at. We really enjoyed our stay. Very friendly and respectful and a reasonable price at this time.
Loved the inclusive Dinner, breakfast and 3 alc beverages a day during happy hour- what?!? And all for any amazing price and beautiful, clean hotel with happy staff- don’t see this often enough!
Breakfast was very good & staff did a great job of replenishing the items. Other hotel staff were polite & hepfull. Room was clean & comfortable. Very satisfied overall.
Booking.com did not send the reservation to the hotel. It took over and hour to check in. I will NEVER use this service again. I will tell everyone to never use it.
The room was garbage. Not worth the hefty price at all. The rates are obviously jacked up for the football game. I will not be back to this hotel chain.
Location, ease of accessibility. The front desk staff were friendly. They informed us the property is under remodel, and transitioning to Best Western.
