The room was excellent and very spacious. It appeared to have been recently renovated. Great bed and very good bathroom. The location is excellent. Right in the middle of town with plenty of places to eat breakfast and evening meals close by. The Medina, adjacent to Harley's, had a great menu for breakfast and other meals and opened early.

The location is great! Very close to the beachfront and close to the center of town. The pub/restaurant is fantastic and the staff/owners are really off the chart friendly. They go the extra step.

All much helped by the glorious sunny weather we enjoyed. Decent selection of eateries available. Good looking old university buildings. Compact place, easy to get about on foot

I have absolutely loved my visit….the Glengower hotel was lovely, the shops in Aber were excellent (eg a fabulous haberdashery ‘Aberdashery’, a brilliant Art shop, Medinas cafe, the Bookshop, lots of other great shops. The people were lovely, welcoming & friendly. I Cant wait to go back & would like to stay much longer next visit.

The facilities at the hotel were excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Aberystwyth has a fabulous coastling for walking and boasts a variety of bars and restaurants for evening entertainment. Lots of places were dog friendly.
The downside would be the lack of 24 hour parking.

I have lived in aberystwyth before but this helped me out when it came to the local area. if you like antique shops, pubs or cute craft shops then you're in luck, wear a jacket as it can be rather windy by the sea, and I'd reccomend going to the top of consti on the mountain railway. Pubs are easy to come by so no worries there.
Honestly for food I just shopped at a local buthcers and used the kitchen to make some yummy dinners, mogans butchers and rob rattray do great stuff, morgans do a brilliant brekkie by the way, as for pubs I'd reccomend the bottle and barrel and for cafes there is the lovely Carys’s Angolino the owner is a mitchelin star chef and a lovely host.
I could reccomend loads of bits in aber but I cant be bothered, so do some more research yourself and see what tickles your pickle
And remember, did you even go to aberystwyth if you didnt walk by the beach or lighhouse?
