A beautiful area, with lots to do, if you enjoy hiking and sightseeing. The nearby Colorado Natl. Monument is, in my opinion, one of the most spectacular parks/monuments in the entire country. The Mainstreet area is great--with some decent restaurants and even a little funky nightlife.

Possibly the nicest downtown I've ever seen.
Possibly the nicest downtown I've ever seen. Plenty of park benches and focal points. Only problem is that most stores do not open until 10am and close at 5pm. They are missing out on dinnertime shoppers. Lots of nice restaurants but if you go for dinner after 5pm, most stores are already closed.

I have lived and visited Grand Junction several times and really enjoy the town at times; although the staff at the Motels/ and restaurants are friendly, other employees and staff at other location and convenience stores; are not as friendly and can be very rude..

Grand Junction, CO is so beautiful! The surrounding mountains are awesome! The Colorado National Monument is an easy drive and WORTH it! The locals are very friendly and so helpful! This is a destination everyone should experience at least once! Don't forget to see Palisade which is 10 miles up I-70. They have the BEST peaches (June-August) I have EVER tasted!!! Pesche Restaurant is a must!

I've traveled to Grand Junction numerous times over the years for bike events and for passing through on way to Moab, Utah. I've always liked Grand Junction. The central business area is great, love the bicycle art along the street.
This was such a cozy and great home!
Great location!
Literally 5 minutes from Safeway, to get groceries to be able to make meals in the well-stocked kitchen.. As well as less than 10 minutes from downtown Grand Junction
I loved that our 2 dogs were allowed and they seemed comfortable there..
Blankets provided to place on the furniture if your dogs are spoiled like ours, and like to snuggle up on the couch..
Comfortable beds, great that there were 2 bathrooms, and an evaporative cooler that kept the place comfort during the 100+ degree days
The bungalow was a bright and cheery place to stay with fun decor and a great layout, and less than 1/2 hour drive to the airport and Colorado National Monument, and just 5 to 15 minutes dive away from numerous peach and apple orchards, wineries, an alpaca farm, biking trails and hiking trails, downtown Palisade and downtown Grand Junction. Amazingly lots to do close by.
Nice room, clean and comfortable. Newer hotel, well maintained. We didn't try the restaurant, prices seemed a bit high but we were on a budget for our road trip. If I had been traveling for business I'm sure it would have been a time saver. Holiday Inn hotels are pretty consistent quality and this one lived up to that standard in my opinion.
Hotel is near Grand Junction airport and the price was not too high. We picked for our last night before flying home and it worked for what we wanted. The hotel had a nice pool and hot tub for relaxing evening. Breakfast was vey adequate. Location is great for airport but not for sightseeing. Good for one night for convenience.
The house is an older model, but it is clean and well furnished. We did not use the cooking or clothes washing facilities, but they appeared to be adequate. Location is handy to downtown and to freeways. All and all I would use this house again for future visits to Grand Junction.
I have stayed here every time I travel to Grand Junction and recommend it for anyone travel with their dogs. Easy access to pretty much the entire town. It is pet friendly with places to exercise and walk your dogs. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
The swing shift clerk had excellent customer service. The hotel room was clean. Breakfast needs to be improved. Hot items weren't out at 6:30. Thank goodness for waffles. Also, breakfast attendant wasn't friendly and didn't communicate
Hotel staff was nice, and helpful with laundry. A bit clueless sometimes. Manager refunded the rest of our stay without problems when we decided to leave earlier. Beds and bathroom seemed clean (apart from floor). Nice views.
The manager of the property of the grand junction hotel went above and beyond to help us out and I don't even have the words to explain how thankful I am for this women. Thank you guys so much
