The amenities are incredible. Great breakfast, wine hour, the gym, rude to the beach with towels and chairs available to the guests, proximity to everything, and the friendliest staff. The rooms are well appointed and have all the conveniences I expect. The decor is really lovely. Providing parking is so appreciated.

Beautiful room with unique special touches. For an example when we checked in, the tv was on a spa channel playing inviting music. I loved that they provided robes and nice shampoo/lotion. Comfortable bed and our room, Palm Tree, was bright with two windows.

I could not see Rehoboth Beach from the rental, but we loved...
I could not see Rehoboth Beach from the rental, but we loved traveling through the residential areas and looking to the homes. People in Rehoboth are very active; lots of biking, jogging and walking. I don't know the names of the beach we went to on our first day, but it was halfway between Rehoboth and Dewey. We went to Rehoboth off Rehoboth Avenue on the Sunday of Memorial day, and not only were the clouds so low that one couldn't see 50 ft into the ocean, but every space on the beach and boardwalk was filled, and that was a bit unnerving, especially for my friend that has social anxiety. That night we chose to order in for Saketumi (yummy!), and relaxed with the kids. We are scheming to come back - maybe renting a house with friends - and we'll avoid the big holiday weekends!

The best vacation spot period.
The best vacation spot period. Amazing restaurants amazing drinks amazing offers amazing boardwalk. Salt air was by far the best restaurant with delicious apps, dirty martinis and huge entrees. Henelopen staff were perfect and all options were delicate and delicious like the boulablaise and oyster shooters!!! I could have 5 of those. Blue hen happy hour gave the best shrimp cocktail i ever had and if you love oysters look no furthur- this town is full of amazing oysters. The fries on the boardwalk has got to be a staple and all around this place blows other vacation spots out of the water!

The shops and town are beautiful!
The shops and town are beautiful! I loved that the hotel we stayed in had an indoor pool, hot tub and sauna/steam room options. The breakfast was awesome! It was super close to the beach. We went in off season and I absolutely loved it, not too crowded but enough to socialize. Will be going back with my kids next time!

Went at the very end of March.
Went at the very end of March. It got very windy but overall the weather was perfect for long walks on the beach and visiting the downtown shopping areas. It’s busy but not too crowded at that time of year.
The beaches themselves were gorgeous both day and night. I recommend taking the few minute drive north to Cape Henlopen State Park for those beaches as well, or take a long walk if your legs feel good. Great views of lighthouses and more.
The seafood was excellent at each location we went, but note that if you go before April, you’ll likely not be able to find steamed blue crab on the menu.

There are many shops and restaurants to chose from.
There are many shops and restaurants to chose from. This time we had a nice seafood dinner at Finns. We also stopped for a snack & drink at the Big Oyster. Both were great.
We enjoyed visiting Schellville Village on one of its last nights. This is something we'd like to try again maybe next year probably in early December as some of the vendors had already closed down when we were there.
It was also fun to see the Polar Plunge teams making their annual New Year's Day plunge at Cape Henlopen Beach.
nothing - we were not allowed to check in. i made the reservation for my son, under his name. he is 18, an adult and very responsible. the manager did not allow him to check in. on the booking.com details page for this hotel is says that 18 is adult, and can check in. why did the manager put my son and his friends on the street, deny the reservation against their own rules, and only later refund the money? i'd like to know. the manager should be ashamed. putting 3 young adults out on the street with no where to stay.
Had late change in plans and had to move our annual trip to Rehoboth Beach in October to Sept 1 - 4 and with very few openings available from all the local hotel we selected Brighton Suites and it was an excellent choice and was much less expensive (about $700 total less for the weekend) than the hotel we usually stay at when in Rehoboth. This is our new favorite place to stay in Rehoboth Beach. Had a King Suite and it was awesome with lots of room and nice living room area.
Dog friendly and clean. Most pet friendly hotels we have stayed at in the past have the pet smell not here. Most of the staff members were extremely helpful and kind only one person was a little standoffish and was more involved in her airpods than the guests. Pool area could use a fresh coat of paint but was clean and heated. Breakfast was ok even with dietary restrictions.
The motel was located on the busy Coastal Highway and was easy to access. It was close to many area restaurants and was close to the Rehoboth Beach outlets. It is only minutes from downtown Rehoboth and the beach as well. The rooms are well maintained and are clean and comfortable. The rooms have a small refrigerator and microwave, desk and flat screen television.
Liked front desk manager s were very curious . And clean ,good attitude go about the guests satisfaction. Will like to re -iterate about the swimming pool or clean rooms this was a typo the truth is The ,"American Inn , Rehoboth beach, Delaware was the property that i intended to describe about not being up to my expectations.
we love the indoor pool and rooftop deck
all the staff are friendly and truly care about service
we were made to feel at home and any small requests we had (extra cups, warm the pool) were met immediately and with kindness
this is the only hotel we will stay with in Rehoboth Beach
We enjoyed the breakfast very much. Tanya was exceptionally helpful and caring. She always had a smile and was willing to converse with us. All the staff was very nice and helpful. This was our 3rd time staying at Hotel Rehoboth and will certainly return.
the hotel was beautifully decorated, very gorgeous, soothing ambience. Staff was super helpful, breakfast was lovely in the restaurant on the property. Easy and fun walk to beach, although they are happy to drive you in their shuttle.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was large and the hotel was perfect for popping to Rehoboth beach and Lewes. Cold continental breakfast open early till 10 which suited the early and late risers amongst us.
The girl at the front desk, that wore glasses , was very friendly , helpful and accommodating . I’m sorry we did not get her name . The hotel is in
the perfect location to be able to walk everywhere.
Good location close to the outlet and the Rehoboth beach. The hotel has quite new utility and the breakfast is simple but sufficient. Highly recommend if you are going to visit Delaware beach side.
The staff was friendly, welcoming, helpful. The room was small but clean, tastefully furnished, and in excellent condition. The location, practically on the boardwalk and beach, is fabulous!
The location of the hotel was ideal for the events I attended( just the right size( comfy & clean rooms; the grab & go breakfast; good coffee in the morning; staff was very efficient.
