We chose to stay at this hotel for the location being close to the Cruise terminal. It is conveniently located off the service road. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We were located on the 1st floor close to the dining lounge area and pool! LOVED IT! Even after I left the hotel I had Amazon packages that were showing up after I had left Griselda C. the Manager worked diligently with me to ensure I received my packages. The entire staff was super friendly. Really enjoyed the breakfast (the sausage :-)) and hot, hot coffee. This will be my location for Galveston stays moving forward!

We love Galveston. We stayed down in the quiet area this time. It was so nice to have the beach to ourselves. We were able to walk to Jimmy's on the Pier. I highly recommend this restaurant for the food....try to red snapper. Oh so delicious. After you eat you can walk out on the pier and hang out.
We've eaten at The Spot. Sit outside to eat and drink and watch the waves roll in.
We also found the food at Float Pool and Patio Bar to be excellent and very affordable. We were there on a Thursday afternoon for the live music from 4-7 pm.
We enjoyed 23rd Street Station Piano Bar. The music was fun and the drinks were cheap. Great for our wallet.
Lots of fun things to do in Galveston.

If you're looking for cruise ship parking and are considering using the Scottish Inns at 928 Ferry Rd, DON'T. Not only is the hotel a #^%# hole, your vehicle is not safe in their parking lot. My vehicle was vandalized while we were on our cruise. We parked where the Scottish Inn person told us to. If you have a problem, they won't call you back. Terrible service!!

Conveniently accessible but DIRTY beaches.
Conveniently accessible but DIRTY beaches. Tons of mosquitos after rain that were absolutely savage. Great people and architecture. Had it's ups and downs. Easy to get around town. Partner loved the pleasure pier rides.

Galveston was beautiful and interesting.
Galveston was beautiful and interesting. Boat tours for dolphin watching and sunset tour were amazing (except both tours were cut short). Lots of great places to dine. Museums were absolutely amazing. Traveling was easy to all the places we wanted to see. The ferry to other islands is an adventure you must see. Be sure when you book a hotel that you don't get one that has hidden fees like the Clarion.

I took my grandkids down so they could go on a cruise. Stayed 1 night but it was wonderful, except for the weather. Too windy & rainy, but we were able to get out & walk a little. The grandkids walked along the beach & gathered sea shells.

The apt really worked with me and my flights so which I am grateful and will consider for my May 7, 2025 appt and would like to get discount for repeat visit!!!!!!!!!!!! I need to try seafood next year, maybe Katy's.
Omg, we will stay here every time we venture to Galveston. We have stayed at multiple places and even with the construction going on, it was the best
JOEY the bartender was a riot and made our trip even better. We literally would come back just to see him again. View from the room was unexpected and awesome. The placement of the hotel is perfect as you can walk across the street and be at the beach with the view of Murdochs and the Pier.
I always stay at this Hotel. Once every 3 weeks on average. I've developed a good report with many of the staff their.
I always look forward to seeing the front desk staff, they know me now after becoming a regular. The bartenders, and their available "Ecuadorian Man Slave" which is an unknown feature at this hotel!
Seriously, I cant wait till I come back to Hilton Galveston. I truly is like coming home for me!
We love multiple things about this hotel. This was our second time staying at this location. We love the location to the beach. The staff was AMAZING! Our dogs barked during the day while we were gone and they were completely understanding about why they were barking. Just so many positives when we come to galveston this is our place of choice. The fact that it's pet friendly is a game changer.
A very well-located hotel from which to explore Galveston. The staff were brilliant and friendly and the room very comfortable and clean. A good, cooked breakfast was a surprise and very welcome. Parking was excellent and with a very good supermarket located right next door, a perfect stay for sure. Very good value for money, these guys are trying hard, well done.
It's a destination hotel, so it's very convenient, being connected with Moody Gardens and close to anything else worth going to on Galveston. The room was plain and simple but clean and in good maintenance and had exactly everything you would want in a hotel room, and good quality. There is a Keurig in the room so I suggest bringing some of your own k cups.
This hotel had the cleanliness and the nice bedding I have come to expect from a Marriott property. Staff were polite and friendly. My primary reason for traveling to Galveston was for business, a speaking engagement. I took an extra day or two off in hopes of doing some birding, and I liked to this location on the west end of the island for that purpose.
We stay at The Inn at The Waterpark every time we visit Galveston. The staff have always been exceptional people. Very Friendly and helpful when needed. This time when we got back we realized we had left the window. Down in our car and nothing was missing and it did not appear that anyone had even tried bothering it. We had cameras ect in our car.
The hotel is very quiet and almost directly on the beach. The facility is very spacious and offers everything you need. We especially like to highlight the hospitality of April from the front desk. We had forgotten something in the hotel and April has answered immediately and even sent us the item by mail! thank you very much again for this!
THE best breakfast. Personal service from all 3 staff and the property owner Graham. Enjoyed having a nightcap in the lovely hotel bar each night. Enjoyed having a coffee on the porch overlooking the well kept grounds. Rosie was super helpful bringing us coffee and refilling water and toiletries in our room.
Got double booked and didn’t even stay there, slept in our vehicle the first night we were in Galveston with a 4 month old baby because of this and everything else was already booked up even hotels… do better Booking.Com. Nothing towards the house because we didn’t even get to see it!
It was very humid outside like normal for Galveston but the rooms were not moldy smelling or wet feeling inside like some hotels in Galveston can be. It had a tiny balcony but perfect to hang up towels and swim clothes to dry. Ice machine on every floor and good breakfast.
The room was great, I enjoyed the stay, the room was clean, and it was my first time here. I would like to start staying here instead of where I normally stay (Galveston Beach Hotel). I think I overlook this one because its pricier.
Staff were all very very nice! , rooms were clean and cute!, pool was clean, breakfast was good and plentiful, cute little breakfast area with a game garden. Definitely worth the money, my go to hotel in Galveston!
