Good view of ocean.
Breakfast included. Cheese omelets were very good; Ham omelets were a disappointment in comparison. Would have liked to have had longer breakfast hours.

The room is spacious but they have a serious problem with roaches, flies and ticks! Room phone didn’t work. Called from my cell to let them know, didn’t even offer to get someone to fix it. Said will put a note so you don’t charged for it. Then when we killed the roaches they said will someone to spray. It was after midnight. Why would I want to smell that as I’m trying to sleep. Then had a cup of wine when I found a 2 ticks next to it. Again called to let them and the manager said I’m sorry about that. Nothing was offered or done! I talked to 4 managers and probably 5 reps and all they can say is I’m sorry! Maybe people are ok with living with roaches BUT TICKs, REALLY???? I’m 62 and have never lived with roaches and most definitely not ticks. Saddd because the location is great, quiet and peaceful. Away from board walk. Neverrrr again will I comeback!!!

Comfortable room with a great ocean view, beds were perfect!, great breakfast, allowed us to check in an hour early because our room was ready, nice people, pool was “unavailable” and being drained for our first day and then was a funny color the rest of the time we were there. We didn’t get in it.

The hotel was fantastic I loved it and I will be back
We had our 5 month old puppy with us. By the second day she was terribly sick. Found an emergency vet and it turns out she got into marijuana somewhere along the boardwalk. She is making a full recovery thankfully. The vet said they see at least one pet a day for marijuana ingestion. It is now legal in VA so please watch your pets. It only takes a tiny bit dropped.

Virginia Beach boardwalk was awesome, a variety of vendors, sporting events and a complete positive vibes. One of the issues I had about the beach, was the parking situation. Some places were charging as much as $50 to park. Another issue was all of the parking garages spaces were full, I had to park six blocks away and walk to the beach. Other than that I had an awesome experience.

If you enjoy Sand Free steps to beach access and sandy places to wash off your feet at 6am on a Sunday morning your in luck. The only reason I came to town was for the free fishing weekend and the 6am leaf blower blowing sand off the steps to the beach on a Sunday Morning ruined my whole trip. I came in off the fishing pier at Ocean View at 1am and got back to my room and feel asleep by 2am. Then 6am I'm awoken by a leaf blower outside my Ocean view room. I was so angry and frustrated I couldn't go back to sleep so I got up and drove 3 and 1/2 hours home. Plenty of other fishing spots and VA beach ain't going to be one of them.

We stayed at the Sea Hawk Motel and it was beachside and very close to everything! We ended up walking everywhere we went which was very convenient! My kids loved the indoor pool and of course my husband and I enjoyed the hot tub while they swam! The monuments/statues/structures of different things were absolutely amazing to see and my kids even loved looking at them and learning. One thing my kids were a little disappointed in was that there is no sea shells on the beach. But we definitely will be back!!

Please visit Virginia Beach but make sure you reserve well known hotels like Marriott, Holiday In, Courtyard etc. so you can stay at a decent hotel. Stay away from a resort call SUN and SAND RESORT.
The local restaurants are 10/10. We loved all the foods we had.

For me, as a teacher with an April break, living in Maine, it was an easy day drive. I did not want to go all the way to Florida, as my family of 5 had done for many years. I hopped in my car at 3a.m. in Maine, and was at Virginia Beach by 530p.m. My son and I stayed the whole week. We discovered Virginia Beach the year before, returned this past April break, and will continue to do so. It is beautiful. We stayed on the quieter side, and that was perfect for us. We went exploring this trip. We went to the state park and hiked around, I discovered Virginia Beach Winery storefront, and just finished my last bottle of wine from there, wishing I had bought more, as it was delicious. We also discovered some wonderful local eateries recommended by locals. Its a wonderful recharge in April! Oh, also The Norfolk Botanical Gardens was a beautiful place! Can't wait to go back and see the new additions next year!
Beautiful hotel! It was so clean! The lobby was beautiful and felt easy with a touch of elegance. It’s just a short walk from the center of the boardwalk. The boardwalk was right out front and you can people watch from the balcony. We had beautiful weather in February and enjoyed a day on the beach which was pristine. Virginia Beach is one of our favorite off season stays. (We aren’t big on crowds.) Definitely check this new hotel out if you are looking to stay in Virginia Beach.
Staff was very friendly and attentive. Responded quickly to all our requests. Hotel and room were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ample and the breakfast room was kept very clean. Room was large with plenty of outlets and charging spots. Large TV screen, microwave and a refrigerator and pod coffee maker all in good working order. Excellent shower. Bathroom stocked with all needed supplies. The towels and wash clothes were heavy weight, and the staff gave us extras.
Staff was very helpfull. We had to check in late so we had to wait for the hotel manager to come to the property. Communicating with him was quick, easy and clear. We had to wait for a bit but he indicated he came within 5 minutes of his ETA, so while we waited we could just chill at a bar at the beach. Once he was on location the checkin procedure was quick, and convenient. Great service that makes the hotel worth considering!
The hotel was old they had dried up food on the walls. The hotel had a bad smell they had roaches the room was full of flies. There were people outside prostitution and drug use. I had my 8 year old with me he was terrified. We was really uncomfortable so we end up parking close to the beach and staying in our car we lost out on a $134 dollars. I wouldn't let my dog stay here. Awful.
The absolutely best thing about this hotel was the front desk and restaurant staff! They were very friendly and helpful! The hotel is an older hotel, but it was very clean. Great location and great views! The price was amazing compared to other hotels in the area. We have stayed at many hotels on the boardwalk, and this is one we will definitely stay at again!
The staff was very accommodating to several requests I made. Room was clean, refrigerator was a nice size and even had a freezer section. coffer maker, microwave, hairdryer, tv. Small table and 2 chairs. All rooms are waterview and have a balcony, hotel is on the boardwalk. Indoor pool. About on the middle of the boardwalk. Easy beach access.
The breakfast was like snacks not breakfast the advertisement was not like how they show you the room. They did not put on the front of the ocean view. When I got to it to the hotel, they said portion view I have to pay an extra fee for the whole ocean view. Worst hotel I stayed in Virginia, I will never stay at that hotel again….
Our room was great....comfortable bed and pillows. It was great enjoying a morning coffee and beautiful view of the ocean from our balcony. The location was perfect, right on the boardwalk. The restaurant served great breakfasts, the staff was very friendly and efficient. The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful.
I liked that the staff were accommodating with the fact that I needed a room on the lowest floor due to my granddaughter's anxiety about elevators. The staff is very friendly, location is perfect, the suite that we had has the ideal layout for our needs. We have stayed here every summer for years and will continue to.
Facility is good but a bit dated, like most oceanfront hotels in Virginia Beach. Location is good. View is great. A variety of room types to choose from. We stayed in a queen suite which offers the sufficient space that we’re looking for.
Room was spacious and very clean. We enjoyed the ocean front balcony and hotel location. We walked in both directions, north and south, on the boardwalk to get to different areas of Virginia Beach for different restaurants.
The bed was surprisingly comfortable! We rarely sleep well in a hotel, but we slept great on the bed in our room. The room was clean. Not fancy, but we were not looking for fancy. It was perfect for our short stay.
This hotel is all suites. This worked out for our family to stay there, without needing multiple rooms. The location is also perfect on the boardwalk, being close to restaurants and entertainment.
Ocean Front location was prime. It was convenient to see the beach on the boardwalk. It was a fun experience! Staff was very nice. Would recommend for anyone looking to experience Virginia Beach.
20 minutes to the beach could be worse but definitely would have an easier time and better experience getting a hotel right on the boardwalk.. decent lobby but that’s about it.
Location is incredibly ideal for easy access to the beach, boardwalk, concerts and nearby shops/restaurants. Rooms are waterfront on the boardwalk. Staff is very friendly.
We were lied to and told hotel was on the beach it was not. We were told parking was free and it was not. I don’t blame hotel they were fine Booking.com lied
The room was just fine and the hotel is in a great/prime location! Right on the beach! The room though was not entirely clean, we found hair in the shower.
