Sarandë is a beautiful tourist destination, but the local infrastructure has not adapted to the large number of visitors. Street parking is chaotic and often slows traffic significantly, as parked cars sometimes block the road, causing unnecessary congestion. Regulating the number of cars allowed to certain spots, such as the castle, would help – it’s common to get stuck in a traffic jam with no way out. More frequent public transport connections would also ease the pressure on the city center. That said, I find Sarandë more charming than Ksamil – there’s more to do here, and you can find beautiful beaches that aren’t overpriced. Services are generally good. It’s a pity about the litter, stray dogs, and blocked sidewalks, but perhaps that’s just part of the local character.Guest review bySimonaSlovakia - 8.0

Good place to stay Near to all beaches Night life Markets Shopping Food Go Laguna beach if you have children Princi Potes is very expensive, may be for singles to meet beautifull ladies :) Other beaches in Ksamil center like:Abiori, Tri ishujit and others are very crowded, expensive and staff is rude. Saranda had improved a lot since I last went there.
Saranda had improved a lot since I last went there. More places to hung around, food is delicious, overall atmosphere is delightful. Really loved staying there. Also, overall service quality has improved a lot. Really loved it. In particular try the Kayak restaurant (a bit off the main pedestrian area) and the Jungle rooftop bar for some great cocktails. A promenade of restaurants and bars, with beach and boat rides to nearby gems of beaches. There's the submarine, the pirate ships with party tours, small boats for hire, and a half hour ferry ride to Corfu, and walk up to the castle for sunset views. Nearby you can have trips to the beautiful beach of Ksamil, and Butrint with 6000 years of history, the traditional town of Gjirokaster with its castle, and the beautiful Blue Eye water hole.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Sarande is a beautiful little city. It was nice to stroll through the center in the evenings. There are places that make delicious börek and trileçe (a type of pastry) and have excellent restaurants. Ksamil, on the other hand, is a true tourist paradise. It's a wonderful city with magnificent beaches, restaurants, and entertainment options that cater to both day and night. Parking is a particular problem in Sarande's city center, especially due to its narrow, crowded streets. Private parking garages can solve this problem. However, if you use navigation to navigate the narrow side streets, you might encounter some difficulties.Guest review byHakanHTurkey
