We only stayed 2 nights with one real day.
We only stayed 2 nights with one real day. Didn’t see Deadwood, explore Keystone, except to see Mt Rushmore, didn’t have time to see Crazy Horse, or other places nearby. One full day for the Badlands and Wall (drug), and easily 1.5 hours at Mount Rushmore.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Deadwood has the night life, travel to a lot of scenic, and historical places, are about an hour or so drive, and closer. great steak house in the basement of the Franklin called Legends, our favorite place is Mavrick's, at the Gold Dust, all around good food with decent pricing. One of the better things is you can walk-to most all locations, and do visit Mr. Wu's, we just love that place.Guest review bycurtisUnited States - 10.0

The location was perfect, I can still smell the night air and hear the wind in the tree's. We had a thunderstorm in the middle of the night and it actually added to the ambiance of the whole place, if we ever travel this way again we will definitely spend a couple of nights here. Also the smores around the campfire were a hit with the grandkids and adults too!Guest review byAllenUnited States - 10.0
We loved the wildlife loop. The donkeys were the best.
We loved the wildlife loop. The donkeys were the best. It said do not feed the animals however with the donkeys it said junk food is not good for them, so I brought apples and bananas.....Soooo Fun. We did not find anyplace open to eat at. I ordered pizza delivery. I came fast and hot. I also brought ham cheese, milk pop ect. from home ( We drove from MN) Getting around town was easy. We spent an afternoon going to small shops. I would say it is a must.Guest review byClay - 10.0

It's a great central location for a few days on the bike trail. A nice ride down to Custer or up to Rochford. We enjoyed Sunday morning worship at The Little White Church, as well as browsing local shops, and dining in the restaurants. Hill City gives you easy access to other destinations in the central and southern Black Hills. Definitely recommend this city for a few days in the Hills.Guest review byLisaUnited States - 10.0

Nice quite town after the rally, but a lot to do in the surrounding areas. Close to Deadwood and Spearfish Canyon. Plenty to do in the Black Hills. If you are on a motorcycle, you will not find a better place to ride. Roads are perfect and the Counties keep them well maintained. Custer State Park and Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse are well worth checking into! Fantastic weather most of the time.Guest review byMaas - 10.0

There are many things to do in the area, much of them are closed in the winter, except for outdoor activities. We have been there many times throughout the year, summer is always hopping with something going on like Hot Harley Nights, the Corvette rally, Sturgis week, Mustang rally, off road 4x4s etc. Winter time it is snow mobiling and skiing.Guest review byRobertUnited States - 8.0
