All ranges of accommodation from 5-star to hostels and are central to both the Convention Center and Disneyland. A 5-10 minute walk to get to a restaurant, bus, or convenience store. Temperate year round. Layer clothing from mid October to mid March. Easy, quick access to all the beaches and the mountains; Hollywood, Palm Springs; and every micro climate and cultures that richly define southern California!Guest review byRichardUnited States - 10.0

very pretty, weather was great, beaches was perfect for what i wanted, and even was able to do a little swimming in the lake. i went to pope beach and was $12 for entry, was well worth it. tried to get to a couple other beaches and it was super hard to find parking. pope beach was great and was able to get to the beach right from my parking spot. went to a couple outlets and people was really nice. traffic was not bad, even though there was allot of road work going on. bring your own beach needs because it is expensive at the stores to buy. love the big 5.Guest review byCJUnited States - 10.0

When I was young I lived in San Jose and our mom would bring us to Santa Cruz all summer long. Coming again as an adult brought back so many fond memories. The boardwalk was so different then then. Santa Cruz is such a fun place and so many rides and shops. Every child needs to experience it at least once in their lifetime.Guest review byWanda PapineauUnited States - 6.0

I liked the area of the property as its right next to the on and off ramp for the Hwy. Its right next to the Denny's, well as a Walmart super center! Theres also Wendys, and Starbucks across the street! Its far enough from the inner city were there tends to be a lot of riff raff as well low scale crime, as well as drugs. I felt at peace, and you can tell that the management puts a lot towards 2training her staff! Real good hard-working staff as well as very courteous and attentive to the guests needs! I figured that there would be a lot of noise and everything else that's associated with hotels that are more cost effective.Guest review byRufusUnited States - 2.0
