The man was very helpful with making us comfortable and sorting our room. He even helped carry our bags. Nothing was a problem and he was very courteous. He allowed us to upgrade our room too. A perfect gentleman.

Delightful proprietor, friendly service. Lovely breakfast choices. Short walk to restaurants. Our room had everything we needed, including a coffee & tea setup. Lots of room to unpack clothes. Julie was very helpful in suggesting restaurants. Cute, friendly dogs. Updated bathroom was a plus.

this was such a great find and unique experience I got from traveling in New Zealand. very affordable for a group, light breakfast provided. our host Kit was very kind in helping us get set up in our cottage. Make sure to leave time the next morning to do the alpaca tour! this was so so cool and you really get up close to feed and pet them! we even got to hold a baby alpaca. super short drive to Christchurch and the airport for any activities afterwards

    The Woolworths Supermarket staff were super friendly & helpful. We had a lovely evening meal at The Plough which was in walking distance to our accommodation, our meals were lovely and affordable.

    It wasn't actually in Rangiora but Woodend as advertised and the reason we choose to stay there.. Had to drive to Rangiora. Lovely Cafe and shopping area to visit as well as reserves to walk on. Would go again.

    I have never been to Rangiora - although I am a Kiwi and have been to Christchurch many times. Rangiora seemed a vibrant little town with some great little boutique shops - very impressed and very clean. Only wished we had one more day to explore.

    Fall in love with the beautiful town and its friendly people we went home and sold up and we now live here. Great eateries, shops, parks not far to Christchurch or the airport. Markets, gigs, beach, Ashley river and more.

    Rangiora has boutique shops, pharmacy, banks, lots of grocery options. Petrol stations for gas, diesel, lpg. Town of 20,000 means all amenities. Pool for family, River for dogs or family. Sea close by for a swim or sunbathe, sunscreen needed. Mt Grey or Thomas for walks.

    Very comfortable room for price. Good size with separate bedroom. New carpets and enough room to work on a table with my laptop. Next to fairly busy road but I could not hear traffic even though I was quite close to the road. Very happy. Will return again if I am in the area. Location was good for a short drive into Rangiora for work, with some local eating places including a good bakery within walking distance on flat road. Plenty of parking available.

    Renovated stables are now available very comfortable air bnb.The rural vista was lovely after a day of travelling. A warm welcome and good advice on nearby eatery. Close to both Rangiora and Kaiapo.
