I loved my first visit to Mount Martha, and cannot believe that this is the first time I have visited. The township was fantastic - cosy, clean, full og interesting shops and the restaurants and variety of food were above average. They had an amazing gluten free place - Le Feu, which we went to on our first night. The food was possibly the best Vietnamese I have had. beaches are very crowded but area around the peninsular if lovely. Mt Martha is a very beautiful and quiet suburb. The old Beach area has many picturesque Historic and colourful Beach Huts along the expansive seafront. Some Huts are 2 Storey and have Front Decks, a rare sight. An exceptional and unusual sandy beach anyway but with the long line of very old but beautifully maintained Rainbow coloured huts and amenities in the Car Park it is a rare Gem.Guest review byEasyAustralia - 10.0

There were an abundance of walks to explore the natural surrounds, plus a variety of beaches to choose from. Our highlight was the Briars, because we were immersed in nature and saw emus, wallabies and kookaburras up close. However, if you don't have a car or means of getting around, it may be tricky. Mt Martha is a great place to base yourself for exploring surrounding areas, and is not overcrowded.Guest review byAdams - 8.0
Lovely area with nice beach.
Lovely area with nice beach. However we dined and visited the surrounding suburbs of Rosebud, Sorrento, Red Hill and Tyabb. Visited Arthurs Seat and rode the Eagle and visited the Enchanted Gardens. The studio was bigger than first thought and very well set up for a small space.
