My room has a patio that overlooks the intercoastal. Just a few short walks away from the pool. It might not be a five star but for the price and the location of my room it’s all I wanted or needed. I just sit there and look at the ocean.

We arrived around 11 and Jose at the front desk got us in the room and we didn’t have to wait until 4 He was so kind , pleasant and explained about the property They had a welcome drink , the have 4-5 drinks the best sangria we had . They have a driver that takes you are for free , her name is Denise . She will give you a tour of Miami , drop you off and pick you up . We saved tons on uber . Let’s not forget Miguel that one that made the amazing sangria I loved that the property was closed to everywhere , they have a Trader Joe’s behind the hotel I loved the rooftop pool

    Really fun and beautiful place.

    Really fun and beautiful place. Great shopping, restaurants and night life. Be ready to spend though- two drinks were $56.00. Also note that every tab had a service charge and tip included. We had drinks at Wilde on the Porch- great people watching on Collins. Then we had an early dinner at TacoTaco right next door. We attended a concert at the Filmore and went out that night at Medium Cool cocktail bar. Super fun weekend and walked to everything.

    The bike/walking path was excellent for morning workout. The water was fantastic in the evenings and mornings. Lots of restaurants on the other side of the road. Little Havana was fantastic. Gave us a great look into what Cuba would be like. Hand Rolled Cigars and Cuban coffee.

    Unless you just want to sit on the beach or in the pool, don't travel to Miami in summer. It is very hot and humid and very unpleasant to walk around and be a tourist in the summer time in Miami Beach. The beaches are lovely if that's what you like to do, just like the Gold Coast in Australia. Miami Beach is quite a distance from everything.There is a free trolley service to get around, but all the locals use it and it gets very crowded when it is knock off time. We used Lyft or Uber to get around but none of the drivers speak English. There are no cafes, supermarkets or reasonably priced restaurants around the hotel. So if you want to eat locally the only options are inside each of the hotels and everything is $$$

    Miami Beach, as the name suggests, is great to enjoy time at the beach. It is great for partying, eating and drinking though the service charges are high. There are a lot of restaurants with options for different cuisines. The beach is very nice and clean and the right water temperature. The kids would love it.

    "We really liked the hotel. It's located on the second line of the beach in South Beach, next to the Versace Mansion. Even though the area might seem noisy, our room (with windows facing an interior courtyard) was quite quiet. The room was good, with comfortable beds and a clean bathroom. But the best part was the reception staff, who were extremely friendly.
