The city is clean!
The city is clean! There are plenty of trees and gardens which are all very well cared for. The roads are quite glorious with multiple lane highways, overhead bypasses, roundabouts - and it all works - there is very little congestion. The people are friendly and happy to assist - one young man virtually walked us to our apartment when we got lost one night! There are lots of interesting places to visit. I particularly recommend Rottnest which is glorious and the Margaret River area which is an opportunity to sample local produce.Guest review byMarjorieAustralia - 10.0
A very interesting place to visit.
A very interesting place to visit. Lots of history and nature. Every tour was interesting, well run and full of new and great information. The tour guides were all easy to understand and full of knowledge. The food included in every tour we took exceeded our expectations. Wonderful fresh seafood selections everywhere we visited. All tours really take care of the natural environment, no rubbish on the beaches here. A good example of mixing tourism with care and understanding in order not to pollute the environment.Guest review byFrancesAustralia - 10.0

Fremantle is a perfect location if you are planning a visit to WA but want to stay outside the Perth city area. It has quirky bars, restaurants and interesting shopping for all ages. The train system allows easy access to all areas across the broader Perth area.Guest review byKristinaAustralia - 10.0

Staying in a good location meant that everything was within walking distance. The bakery is definitely worth a visit. There are queues but I could see why. We visited the Tapas restaurant MORRIES which was great. Food and service was outstanding.Guest review byRechtAustralia - 8.0
What a beautiful town!
What a beautiful town! Picturesque with a very long ocean foreshore and great play parks and play facilities for kids. I was only there very briefly, I would like to go back to visit the art gallery and museum and other local attractions.Guest review byKarenAustralia - 8.0
The holiday, laid back feel.
The holiday, laid back feel. I grew up there until a teenager and back for every holiday, so have always had a soft spot for my hometown. Food wise: highlights are Jo Jo’s Pizzeria, Dylan’s, Six Degrees, Squid Shack, WA Chinese, Gar Heng, Sugbo, Venice and that cafe on the corner of York St, next to the PO.Guest review byJacintaAustralia - 10.0
Busselton is constantly changing and getting bigger.
Busselton is constantly changing and getting bigger. There are plenty of good restaurants all within the town site. Having said that it holds its country charm and is well worth a visit. We like Tai food and Busselton has a fantastic one. Pub grub no problems there and where we stayed top notch restaurant. It's location allows you to use it a base station like we do and travel out daily to other exciting areas, like Augusta for migration whale watching on a 37ft vessel. Four different types of underground caves which are simply spectacular. Visit the Capes Raptor Centre and see Albie the owl. On your way down you will pas through Cowaramup a country town where there are dozens of full size crafted cows scattered throughout town townsite. Do not miss the bakery there and take the time to wander. In all there are endless activities for all ages down in this region.Guest review byRaymondAustralia - 10.0
Kalbarri Gorge was wonderful, as were the coastal areas.
Kalbarri Gorge was wonderful, as were the coastal areas. We had some wonderful views of Humpback whales from the coastal cliffs during our walks. The weather was magnificent during our stay in July. A number of food places were booked out during our stay (school holidays). Fish and Chips were exceptionally expensive - most we have ever paid anywhere!Guest review byDebbieAustralia - 10.0

For the longest time, Mandurah has been coined as the retiree city for the folks of Perth, and it sometimes feels that way when walking along the Esplanade.... idyllic, relaxed, and somewhat serene, it does feel like a fairly modern regional city centre that lives with a much more peaceful pace to life. Still, and more recently (in the last 5-10 years), Mandurah has shown upgrades in a lot of public amenities, venues and structures! The Mandurah Forum is brilliantly large for a regional shopping centre; the newly refurbished esplanade and boardwalks are a delight, and the myriad of shops along the esplanade with the multitude of modern eateries all attest to its developing nature.Guest review byRazzDazz222Australia - 10.0
Lovely!
Lovely! Clean and the staff in the independent stores were attentive and warm. Great variety of retail and food outlets. Pubs were excellent, we were in Bunbury as we were looking at real estate for our future years!Guest review byAnonymous
