Seminyak is a perfect blend for relaxation , indulgence , sumptuous food choices , seclusion and tranquility for some and quality nightlife for others . Seminyak beach also appeals to most demographics and has lots to offer. Great shopping and an easy base to book tours for other parts of this amazing islandGuest review byPeterAustralia - 8.0
Canggu is a very busy part of Bali.
Canggu is a very busy part of Bali. The locals are very friendly with lots to see. Lots of very nice restaurants clise to our stay.Traffic is extremely busy and getting even short distances is difficult due to seriously heavy congestion. We enjoyed our stay but would look at less busy area if you want to travel to the sights to see in BaliGuest review byPaulUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Such good vibes and so much to do.
Such good vibes and so much to do. Amazing restaurants, cafes, and gyms, which all seemed to be owned and frequented by Australians. The vibes in the area was so cool and there are so many lovely beaches in the area. Highly recommend if you like sun, beaches, the outdoor lifestyle, and good vibes!Guest review byWill GNew Zealand - 4.0
Basically just a resort neighborhood for people to spend...
Basically just a resort neighborhood for people to spend their miles and points at all the usual hotel chains. The neighborhood is almost all resort pricing unless you go and mingle in the slum-like conditions that the local construction workers are living in. Almost all of the activities and attractions outside of the resorts are very suspicious, often feeling like tourist trap scams. I would only stay here again if someone were inviting me to some convention hosted here and they were putting me up in the resort hotel.Guest review byKoJapan - 8.0

Legian is half way between Kuta and Seminyak. It’s an easy and enjoyable walk to either. Taxis and bike rides are abundant. Legian itself has plenty of dining and drinking venues to explore. Fantastic evening at Zanzibar restaurant.Guest review byJosephAustralia - 10.0

Jimbaran is very laid back and traffic is not bad by Bali standards. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach and spent most of our time there. We did have a family dinner on the beach at sunset and that was a great experience. We also had a fantastic dinner at an Indian restaurant near the beach. I can’t wait to visit jimbaran again with my grandson and learn to surf!Guest review byhumphrey - 8.0

We found a shop in Kerobokan where all the locals went to buy clothes etc, the prices were set and very reasonable if you didnt want to barter for everything Our villa was at the end of a driveway a fair walk from the shops etc, we couldnt find a salon nearby to have a massage. We were close to a laundry however and their prices were amazingly low and their services was excellentGuest review byGlenysNew Zealand - 10.0

Fantastic culture, some great places to go in the middle,...
Fantastic culture, some great places to go in the middle, and North of the Island. I spent a week in Ubud, then a week on the South coast. I could have spent 2 weeks in Ubud, and based most of my travels from there. Beaches in the South are something else, great surf, etc. Things to note which you may not expect. Traffic is mental. Most roads are bad, poorly surfaced, narrow and congested. Most people get around by scooter, which is fine, but be prepared for the fumes if you're doing more than a pop-to-the-shops on one. And the endless 'sell'. I was taking my own picture at a restaurant and was told I would have to pay for it (Rice Terraces) They aren't all like that, don't get me wrong, but they will push it. Fun can be had with haggling, Rule of thumb, offer half their asking price, then work back from there. Be prepared to be followed down the street if you don't buy it. Food is amazing. Try the local dishes, so much better than the same dishes back home. And why would you fly half way round the world to have fish & chips in a different country? And, getting there. Get your visa before going, they have 40-ish automated passport gates, which you can use if you have a digital passport. Use the Gojek App for taxi, or even food and other things whilst you're there (Like Uber).Guest review byAlanUnited Kingdom
