Beautiful. Very ‘the white lotus’. Hotel only open 1 year so in very good condition. Clean. Modern - fully equipped tv and sockets (Netflix, USB/C etc). Great swim up bar. Breakfast had yoghurts fruit cereal pastries eggs bacon sausage then a variety of non breakfast items like Asian dishes. Something for everyone. Bar is not expensive but didn’t try food other than breakfast.

The location was great. It was a short walk from an area with lots of great food and shopping options. It was also far enough from the main road to not be affected by noise. The staff were super lovely.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with lovely balconies overlooking the pool or the lush gardens. Our kids had an amazing time – from the pools to the kid-friendly areas, the entire resort has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that’s perfect for families. The breakfast buffet was rich and varied, with plenty of delicious options for both kids and adults. And the beach? Quiet, clean, private, and just steps away – ideal for both relaxation and family fun. What truly made this stay so special was the staff. Everyone was kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Even the kids’ club team was fantastic – patient, caring, and full of energy. The hotel far exceeded my expectation. I had checked in for a one night stay before transferring to another resort to attend a wedding. Wish I had stayed longer. It was such a nice comfortable hotel and the staff were exceptional. So friendly and helpful. A small hideaway in Khao lak with all the amenities of a larger hotel. Breakfast was excellent as was the enormous welcome fruit plate and drink. The Pomelo and other fruits were grown on the property and the family that runs the hotel were so welcome I wish I'd stayed longer.

A beautiful quiet little hotel right by the beach. Greeted by really lovely girls with huge smile's. Our room was spacious, clean, lovely big bed which was super clean and comfortable. The bathroom again so clean, soft towels, shower adequate for a short stay. The view,,,wow peeking through the Wonderful tree's the sea lapping in the short distance,. Breakfast was a gorgeous bonus,,left after 2 days feeling relaxed. My poor husband got prawn belly,,,yuky,,the lovely manager rushed off to the chemist for us before left,,thank you so much for your caring hospitality

    Not as busy as Phuket, less people but lots of restaurants with reasonable prices. Very family orientated, no night clubs & pole dancing girly bars. Khao Lak is what Phuket was 30 years ago but is becoming more popular.

    If you want to hang around with far to many unwanted, Khao Lak is the place to go. It certainly focusing on tourists with bad taste from a special part of the world. There are a lot of nice places nearby if you just stay clear of central Khao Lak. The unwanted are sadly still to many.

    We have been to khao Lak 7 times now because we love it...

    We have been to khao Lak 7 times now because we love it so much. We have eaten in many different places , but the Orchid is our favourite restaurant. All of the eateries were very reasonably priced. Khao Lak is a very walkable resort and safer now there are two pedestrian crossings. We are older and some pavements have quite high steps down and up, but there are usually little ramps for less abled or children's buggies. There are plenty of mini marts to buy supplies and several pharmacies to get advice or medications if needed. Also plenty of little craft / souvenir shops. There are plenty of bank machines and several money exchange kiosks. Khao Lak is basically one very long main street with shops etc on both sides of the street. It is not a late night resort, the whole. Most restaurants are closed by 10p.m.

    Lovely quite town, away from the hustle and bustle of Phuket. No traffic. Beautiful beaches. a large selection of restaurants. Plenty of local taxis to take you around. Very friendly local community. A totally different more chilled vibe than Phuket.

    the pool was nice but was completely dominated by one eu nation - who were all so grumpy. it’s for old people who are afraid to go to Thailand (for some reason) and stay in the hotel the whole time. Thailand isn’t for that it’s for seeing the culture - that type of holiday is Mexico - by the pool all day. Khao lak is t that nice either - I’ve been all over Thailand - there isn’t anything to do and the markets are inferior.

    Everything about our stay was perfect. The hotel itself is amazing, they have all the facilities you could possibly ask for. The staff are very attentive and go above and beyond to make your visit a memorable one, Jerry in particular was great fun and very helpful, and made a lasting impression on us. We would definitely stay here again if we came back to Khao Lak.
