The town of Kumily was bustling and colourful. You have to have your wits about you as a pedestrian. He helped me plan my days in Thekkady and arranged tickets for all experiences. His place is in a central location with the bus stand, market & eateries at a walking distance with clean & comfortable rooms. The entrance to the Periyar National Park is a 10 minute drive.
