Our stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Koh Samui was a truly memorable experience. The resort is stunning — nestled into the hillside with sweeping ocean views and surrounded by lush greenery, it feels like a peaceful sanctuary. Although we didn’t book a villa with a private pool, we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a beautiful sea view room upon arrival. The view was breathtaking and made our stay feel even more special. From start to finish, the service was exceptional — every staff member was warm, professional, and eager to help. The room was immaculate, elegant, and comfortable, and we loved waking up to ocean views and birdsong each morning. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, offering a wide selection of Thai and international dishes in a lovely setting. We also really appreciated the daily Appreciation Hour from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., where guests can enjoy the “cocktail of the night” — a thoughtful and relaxing touch before dinner. One of the highlights of our evenings was dining at Sea Breeze restaurant, where we enjoyed not only great food but also the fire show by the beach — such a magical way to end the day. Though the resort is spread out, buggy service was prompt and efficient. We loved the peaceful, tucked-away location, which made it easy to unwind and truly disconnect. We left feeling pampered and refreshed, with beautiful memories and a strong desire to return. Highly recommend for anyone seeking luxury, tranquility, and a few unique touches along the way.

    The beach is beautiful and not over crowded.

    The beach is beautiful and not over crowded. We spent most of our time at Pi Samui for delicious food and drinks at the southern end. Loved watching the sea truck driving guest to nearby island resort.

    Nice beach, but not exceptional.

    Nice beach, but not exceptional. There are a few locals offering local handmade products, clothes and food. They're very kind, occasionally you can make good deals. Various water sports activities are available, as well as special dinner programs (e.g. with fireworks) at certain hotels.

    we loved taking regular dips in the ocean from the pool area. the water was super clear and the sand hard packed and shallow for quite a distance. we loved to walk out and float in the ocean looking back at the hotel.

    I have been in Thailand 30 days and almost finishing my vacation time here, I visited Pattaya, Phuket and the most beautiful beach I found is choeng beach, I went directly to the resort and the beach was amazing clear water and the sand just amazing, I moved my last days to Ban po beach and I regreat not staying my full 5 days in choeng area.

    It’s very nice !!

    It’s very nice !! Not a large beach but it’s got a pretty view and the water looks fabulous especially with the sun out! You can’t see the sunset but can see the sky colour at sunset is nice. Sun rises are lovely

    Nice cozy room, rather big, very clean and comfortable, nice bed, sheets, shower etc. House atmosphere of hotel, very welcoming, helpful and friendly Host, hot water/coffee/tea are available 24 hours on reception. Convenient location next to 7/11 and mini Big C shops, Thai food cafes, not far from the beach and Big Buddha temple. I would recommend this hotel as a great place in Koh Samui.

    Basically liked everything about the Honey Cottages. The staff were helpful and friendly plus being attentive and helpful. Accommodation itself very reasonable for the cost. Highly recommend The town itself is quieter than other locations on Samui but that suited us. There were some very good restaurants and a few bars.
