Beautiful little town.
Beautiful little town. I wish businesses would stay open a little later. We found most things were closed by 6pm. Loved dining near the water. Loved the boat cruise to Boldt castle. Very close to other nice towns as well as close to Kingston.Guest review byNancyCanada - 10.0
This is a wonderful picturesque area well worth a visit.
This is a wonderful picturesque area well worth a visit. The cruise among the islands and the enormity of the homes and cottages was something to behold as well as learning some of the history. The 1000 Island Tower was well worth going up as the view is incredible. The Confederation Sculpture Park was absolutely lovely as well as the Joel Stone Park by the marina. Downtown is quaint with many dining options and a drive up to Ivy Lea, Rockwood and Mallorytown was very lovely. Or driving furtther south to Kingston is also worth the time. All in all, Ganonoque is a very worthy road trip to make with lots to see and many view points.Guest review bybirgerkeCanada

The room looks out over the lake with a small garden with chairs to sit out. The room was spotlessly clean. The hosts are very welcoming and gave us advice on where to eat out on our last night. It really is a lovely location and you can walk everywhere. We visited the theatre to see Mary Poppins while we were in Gananoque and also went on the 3 hours 1000 island river cruise. In the evening we explored the gorgeous little town Gananoque. The location of the hotel is perfect - you can reach everything by foot. The Dinner recommendations we got at the hotel where on point. We loved the hotel room - the USB sockets are great to charge your mobile device! The towels and linen are very high in quality.
