Very clean and tidy. The bathroom was cleaner than the five star resort I stayed at in Dubrovnik. Friendly staff. Mall across the street with a huge grocery store. Breakfast buffet was ok but cappuccino and a variety of items made to order were very good. Btw, this a la carte menu is included in breakfast price. Roof top is nice . The front desk recommended a restaurant for delivery as I did not have local Food delivery app. And the pizza was good and only 10 euro . They did not charge me for delivery. The hotel is 5-6 min drive from old town and marina but it is not too expensive to take an uber.

Every uber driver will tell you that it’s the tallest building in Croatia. People in split take pride in that fact and love to boast that they have one up over Zagreb. The hotel is great and you get fantastic views.

It is a beautiful little town, well worth visiting, lots of history, stunning scenery and a lovely vibe. If you just want to meander about, you can fill a couple of days, if you want to make use of the beaches and go further afield you could make it a longer stay. At times it does get very busy, and restaurant bookings are recommended. Ask your hotel, ours couldn't have done more to help.

Smaller yet compact old city center where you will find everything you need just in few steps. Big grocery store just next to the bus station, big outdoor market place, fish market, promedande, countless number of restaurants, public transport and several beaches. The only downside is that during the peak season it is really crowded.

Hvar centre is over priced and if you do not get recommendations where to eat you could end up paying a lot of money for poor quality meals. The island itself is beautiful and worth exploring on your on own. Jelsa would be a much better based than Hvar old town, where a glass of wine is half the price!

For me, this is simply the best place in Croatia. It's smaller than, for example, Makarska, and lacks noisy clubs and loud nightlife, which I consider strong advantages. You can find everything you need: beautiful beaches, bars, snack stands, and upscale restaurants. Renting a sunbed or umbrella is easy, and exciting water sports equipment, such as water jets, is also available. Highly recommended.

Initially we thought it was a bit far from Split, but then realised it has a lot to offer (good beaches, restaurants, cafes) and transport into Split is one bus ride. For us it was all we needed - swimming every day in sea and hotel pool, good lunches and dinners in local restaurants, a trip to Split and a trip to the island of Brac for variety. Omis nearby is interesting too.

    Perfect for a chill holiday.

Perfect for a chill holiday. Beautiful, lots to do, great restaurants. Would recommend the Golden Horn beach for a swim, booking SUP boards for some exercise and wine tasting at Stina winery. If you decide not to do the wine tasting tour, it's a lovely place to sit and drink their amazing whites on the promenade overlooking the sea. My favourite restaurant was Vendetta - Sushi boats for 2 are a must! Family run Pumparela restaurant at the Port was also superb, delicious food (including vegetarian for my daughter) and really friendly. Enjoy

Crystal clear water and you can see straight to the bottom even when it’s deep. The water is so clean it’s almost unreal, like swimming in a giant natural pool. If you love pristine beaches and amazing water quality, this place is absolutely worth it. The only downsides are that getting into the water can be a bit tricky since it’s rocky rather than sandy beaches. Also, the supermarkets have very limited options - even the biggest one doesn’t have much variety if you’re planning to cook during your stay.
