We stayed in an ocean view hut. It was adorable! Comfortable and very clean. Beautiful view. Open air bathroom with outdoor shower. We loved it! The staff there are absolutely incredible! They bend over backwards to make sure you have anything you need. They arranged taxi rides for us to the dive shop and they picked us up from the port. They arranged a tour to some of the top sites on the island. We dined in the on-site restaurant and the food and service we had was excellent. Thank you Dita! Cocktails from the bar were delicious. They provided us a floating breakfast one morning. I had a massage at the spa that was out of this world! I waited until our last day for this. I wished I had had one every day!!! Do the Island Paradise package ( i think that was the name)! It was sooooo worth it! Thank you Dede! I wish I had gotten everyone's name! They ALL were amazing! The nicest people we have ever met!!! I cannot say enough nice things about this place!

The location was just next to buyuk harbour, staff was friendly , early check in was granted,I stayed there for one night only .breakfast was ok , although it could have been better . rooms were spacious,also rented a scooter from hotel with 100 k per day and travelled all the way starring from diamond and atuh beach to klinking beach ,broken beach ,angel Billabong and than crystal bay beach,, overall a gud stay specially as I planned the next day morning journey for Gilli trawangan by blue water speed boat from buyuk harbour.

    The typical day excursion with speed boat going and coming to the island in one day is somewhat exhausting, in my optinion. Another recommendion would be to stay at least one overnight, to break the trip up and not be so rushed. Travel light for day trips or your overnight, as it makes it easier boarding speed boats and moving around the harbours. Overnight accomidations are very inexpensive and hotel dining options and restaurants near to the harbour are plentiful. Beach clubs are wonderful on the North shore near Prapat Beach and have nightly entertainment. Nightlife and restaurants are becoming very popular on this part of Nusa Penida.

    Beautiful island. Quite rustic but also quite busy. Best for snorkeling and the gorgeous instagram worthy beaches. If going snorkeling it is better to be an experienced swimmer who doesn't get sea sick. If you want to see Manta Rays go to Manta Point rather than Manta Bay. At Manta Point you have about a 90% chance of seeing them and at Manta Bay probably only a 5% chance at most. Gamat bay is good for coral and fish and if you're lucky, the odd turtle. You might also spot dolphins in the vacinoty of Manta Bay to Crystal Bay area while on the boat, or maybe from one of the sea facing Broken Beach viewpoints. Definitely try and get to see Kelingking Beach - it is as beautiful as you see in pics. Broken Beach is stunning too and Angel's Billabong pretty awesome. If you can get to the East coast, Diamond Beach, Atuh Beach and 1000 Island Viewpoint are worth it too. The roads around the island are in pretty bad condition and the traffic can be daunting (was there over Eid, so maybe it was extra busy). If hiring a scooter, just take care on the roads.

    Beautiful island.

    Beautiful island. Takes a bit of time to see both east and west side. However the views made up for it. A bit crowded at the famous spots but that is expected. Allow a full day or do the east and west on separate days. We spotted manta rays and a turtle from land which was an added bonus and great way to end the trip.

    It was my first time traveling to Nusa Penida, regardless of...

    It was my first time traveling to Nusa Penida, regardless of my short stay I had a lot of fun and adventure! Tembeling beach was truly a hidden gem (despite the craziness of the road) and going down to Klingking beach was worth it in my opinion (make sure you are fit/ doesn’t have any underlying med conditions). I would love to be back again in the future :)

    This is a really special place!

    This is a really special place! I could have easily stayed longer. Very much a jungle still and you often find yourself in quiet villages as you drive around. My favourite things I did was a manta ray tour (through get your guide - make sure you go to manta Point not manta bay), yoga at Deep Roots, eating at vegan soul cafe, lounging at crystal bay, spa treatment at Coco Tree Spa. I was on Penida for four days and easily could have stayed longer A few things to note - there is a 25,000 IDR tourist fee to get into the island - you need a scooter / private driver to get around - the island is big! It’s hard to get to all the tourist spots unless you plan on driving most the day. I didn’t get everything done I wanted to, so I’ll be back.

    We stayed at the Kama for 2 nights during a 3 day trip to Nusa Penida. The hotel is perfectly situated right between the east and south of the island making it easy to see all the highlights. Also, the hotel very conveniently offers transportation such as scooter rental and private driver. The hotel itself is brand new and beautiful, very suitable for couples. The pool was open 24/7 making it possible to swim under the stars. The service and staff was excellent, we would like to thank Wayan in particular for taking such good care of us!

    Maua is a great boutique hotel, probably the nicest one on Nusa Penida. With a great view on the main island of Bali and Mount Agung. We loved the hotel so much that we didn't feel like going out. Our room had a private pool but we enjoyed the main pool, which is bigger than the ones in other hotels in Bali. The food was good with a special mention to the breakfast menu and the Chinese New Year dinner. Also the staff was nice with easy check-in and check-out.

    The hotel is really beautiful. The rooms are huge and are always kept clean by the hotel staff. The location is very convenient because it is in the West side of Nusa Penida and very close to the harbor. The staff at the front desk always very helpful and ready to plan/organize fun activities on the island. We had a problem with the scooters and they were very helpful in finding a solution. Beautiful swimming pool. Thanks Semabu Hills!

    We enjoyed staying in Villa Vilah. Staff was very helpful and provided support out of the way. Gid was exceptional, he really help us plan overall trip in Nusa Penida. we spent 3 days over there and rented two bike to roam around island.Booking bike from Villa a bit expensive as you can find cheaper options with direct deal.
