At first, I was a little nervous booking through Booking.com since I had heard some stories about scams, and it was my very first time using the website. But it turned out to be a truly wonderful experience for us! The hotel room was super clean, and the staff cleaned our room every single day. All of the staff members were magnificent, but I especially want to recognize two gentlemen who really left an impression on me. First, the long-haired receptionist. I regret not remembering his name, but I’m sure the description makes it clear who he is. Before our trip, I let the hotel know that we would arrive early because of our flight and asked if we could at least leave our luggage before check-in. To my surprise, when we arrived early, he kindly checked with housekeeping and immediately let us check in. He said he wanted us to be able to rest after our flight, which was so thoughtful. His professionalism, politeness, and warm communication made us feel very welcomed. During our stay, whenever we saw him at the front desk, he always asked if everything was okay and how we were doing. His service really stood out—well done! The second gentleman I want to thank is the one who worked the night shift. One evening, I returned to the hotel around 3:00 a.m. with a friend. He opened the door for us, and when I asked if I could quickly run upstairs to grab something, he stayed downstairs to watch over my friend. When I came back, I noticed he was standing at the counter, making sure she was safe. Even after that, while my friend and I chatted outside, he quietly stood nearby, keeping an eye out until we finished talking. That small detail touched me deeply—it made me feel safe, cared for, and very thankful. These thoughtful gestures may seem small, but they meant a lot to me. They made my first experience with Hotel Le Milie Rose; not only worry-free but truly memorable.

Quinzerie hotel is one of the nicest I've stayed at in Europe. Every member of the staff went above and beyond and the little special touches were everywhere. It's a lovely, beautifully decorated, charming hotel on a quiet street located close to the Seine and the Eiffel tower and every detail is well thought out. Great breakfast, comfortable beds, fabulous shower and really wonderful staff. I messed up my dates and last minute had to make an additional booking which required me to make an unavoidable move in the middle of our stay (entirely my fault). The hotel upgraded both of our rooms and ensured we had the most seamless move. I can't say enough good things about Quinzerie hotel and highly recommend to anyone going to Paris. Make sure you visit the rooftop bar - so fun and great view.

The apartment is clean, well equipped and convenient for Metro Line 3, a large supermarket and local bistros. There is also a scattering of take away vans near the station that look well used by the locals. One in particular - based around a London bus - appears to have a large screen where many gather to watch football (soccer). We used this as a base for exploring Paris, rather than visiting Bagnolet, but could see plenty of places in the area where we would have liked to spend time had we not been trying to cram so much of central Paris into our stay. Père Lachaise cemetery is only 3 stops away, for those who would like to pay their respects to the likes of Jim Morrison, Oscar Wilde and Edith Piav. Metro Line 3 offers a convenient gateway to Paris, as well as an easy route to Gare du Nord and the Eurostar, or train link to CDG. Gare du Nord has a luggage drop facility that allows you to leave your bags to let you squeeze every last moment of your final hours in this amazing city, unencumbered by luggage.

I loved the fact that room was very warm, it's amazing! The location is very convenient, since it's close to metro and buses. But the photos didn't really match the reality (they were taken some years ago for sure). The room just need a little fresh touch and better cleaning (the floor cover had stains). But overall, it was a nice stay.

this property is not suitable for human living. it is even worst than third world countries. Electric currents in entire bathroom with water running around, abusive and nonsense manager, property is in dangerous condition, tons of mosquitoes, heaters are also giving you intermittent shocks, all the furniture is absolutely rubbish. we left the property with life threatening danger and with absurd manager. Our vacation is spoiled completely. we have to call emergency 112 to secure us and finally able to came out from this property, walked many kilometers in a rainy cold day to move to another accommodation with premium payment. it will be not shame to say that Booking.com is running a scam by promoting such hazardous property with higher ranking. totally worthless.

There are plentiful shops, restuarants, pharmacies, bakers, banking, grocery and clothing options. The metro stops in Saint Mande- M1 train. I recommend La Fraternite restuarant. Also La Tourvelle is excellent. The area brasseries are all quite nice. The Balmer Boulangerie (bakery) is excellent as is B Bakery. The fruit and juice stand across from the Balmer and near hotel Le Ruisseau is excellent (fresh squeezed smoothies 5 euros? Le Ruisseau is an exccelent choice for lodging.

To each his/her own as to what you’re inclined to visit.

To each his/her own as to what you’re inclined to visit. The usual landmarks are worth looking at, Eiffel tower, Louvre, Napoleon’s tomb Invalides, Musee d’Orsay, Notre Dame, Sacre Coure, and a boat ride along the Seine. The authentic french cuisine is slowly disappearing, replaced by Thai, African, Chinese, Italian and American burgers along the tourist spots. The coffee, and croissants are still totally french and is a must. We have visited this city many times, the attitudes of many Parisians have changed, they don’t ‘insult’ anymore but a ‘Bonjour’ helps a lot when staring a conversation, or asking for help. There’s more to see outside of Paris, so I would conclude that a week visit is sufficient to cover landmarks then travel outside the city to digest more of what France offers.

It's a great option for budget travellers with easy access to public transport including metro and bus. The surrounding area is a bit rough around the edges, but there is a mall across the street which is very convenient for picking up necessities and snacks. The restaurant in the building has lots of options and is not too pricey.

Our room was in the first level. Although there were some noises from the street, closing the window eliminated all of them. The room's facilities and equipment were fine for even more than a one-week trip, as we did. Polite and friendly staff was the other positive point. Comfort beds and private bath.

A village with real character and yet very close to the city of Paris with excellent shops and restaurants. a Carrefour, Vanilla bakery and numerous little cafes. The corner cafe/ restaurant 'Villa Saint Gervais' on the corner of Place du General Leclerc was our go-to place for refreshments and superb meals. my favourite boutique: BisBis, on Rue Andre Joineau for an eclectic selection of accessories and clothes. There is a good offer of public transport connections and a bicycle hire pickup-station nearby.

Paris is the most visited city in the world and for good...

Paris is the most visited city in the world and for good reason. I have visited four times and each time I have seen something new and enjoyed what I have seen before just as much. Of course the food is one of the main attractions of Paris and you won't be disappointed with the overall quality of the food you can buy. One of the best attractions in Paris is just walking around the various neighbourhoods and discovering interesting and beautfiul scenes and buildings. I will now stick my neck out and also say that I found the people of Paris to be very kind. When I was trying to get somewhere, going the wrong way one morning, a passerby, without my asking, took me to the tram station. I heard a woman fall behind me and by the time I turned around two people had already raced to her aid.
