Copenhagen is a beautiful and incredibly walkable city. I felt very safe throughout my entire visit. Many of the top attractions are easily accessible on foot, which made exploring the city enjoyable and stress-free. The Copenhagen Metro is also very straightforward and runs on time, making it easy to get around when needed. And the bakeries—absolutely top notch! I found Copenhagen a bit boring. I walked 9 of the 14 routes in the Insight Guide book. It's not Paris, or Rome, much less Amsterdam. Pretty much the same everywhere, all white people, good wholesome people. Palaces and churches with all their bricks and all their history.
