The views of the rice fields and terraces in July are beautiful because they’re at its greatest! If you’re lucky enough to get sunny days during your stay you’ll be rewarded with fantastic pictures!!! The downside are the muddy trails (rainy season) so most probably you’ll not be able to cover the whole place. They’re alternative options, easy ones, specially if you visit with children. I highly recommend you to stay outside Sapa town as we did. Sa Pa is a beautiful and charming place made by its people, mixed culture, and unique terrain. Hiking to Fansipan is a must activity. Visiting local villages in the mountain valley is fun as well. The town of Sapa itself is like any other town in Southeast Asia, except it is high in the mountains with beautiful scenry. The real gem is the Surelee Homestay located well outside of the town in the mountains themselves. This provided a beautiful, rustic atmosphere totally different from city life. Sa Pa is for those who are seeking peace and tranquility in nature. It offers a lot of natural tourists spots that are unique but some of them requires trekking/ climbing. A workout prior to hiking is a must. Staying in the hotel with a good view of the nature is highly advisable.Guest review byG
