Room was clean, although it smelled like a smoker's room. I had asked for non-smoking

A remarkable museum and monument to those people who gave up their lives in war, so that others may have freedom from oppression and conflict. Well worth a visit and spending time here, a lot of history to explore. Lest we forget.

    Absolutely top notch interactive displays.

Absolutely top notch interactive displays. Very humbling to learn about our heroic ANZACS, most of whom were ordinary blokes fighting for freedom. Allow a couple of hours to visit the Centre. Well worth the time!

If you have any interest in our National heritage and the ANZAC story then this is a place where you could easily spend a whole day. I followed some of my great grandfathers steps during his time on the Western Front of Europe and found out ‘new’ to me history of the battle at Villers Bretonneux on 25th April 1918 where he was wounded and taken prisoner by the Germans. A hidden gem of our history at war. Allow more time than you think that you will need.

    What an amazing experience.

What an amazing experience. It was daunting at first, but once you got to follow your ANZAC it just shows how incredible our Aussie diggers were. It's a must when you visit Albany. But there is so much more to Albany, so don't forget the rest.

    Highly recommended.

Highly recommended. You'll receive a card when you pay your entry fee which will be a photo of an Australian War Hero and you can follow his feats via an audio of WW1 when you put it in various slots around the room.

A must see, and allow adequate time to explore.

A must see, and allow adequate time to explore. Join the free tour if possible, the guides are exceptional. Restaurant on site, but does not cater for the average tourist visiting this site. Too formal and takes too long to be served. They would do more business with takeaway servings including tea/coffee.
