Most part of the Pibara region is boring as fk. Only travel there for work up on the mines and gas plant. Family touring? No, don`t do it. Kimberley has some great views and parks for exporing, otherwise, go down South. Oh, right, Never go any Asian resturants in Karratha, not authentic and total rip off. Karratha is a hidden gem.
Karratha is a hidden gem. It is a clean, accessible city spread out to accommodate the easy transition of traffic coming in and out of it. Entering the city from the main highway gives you wonderful glimpses of the ocean through the palm-lined fringes of the city outskirts. We were fortunate to eat organic fresh fruits which was unexpected and such a nice surprise! If you've had the privilege of eating farm grown produce that still maintains taste and texture, you'll know what I mean. Karratha is not to be missed.
