I was offered Soursop which from the previous reviews there were issues about being forced to drink it. I would not say I was forced but the drink is given to give your body a kick start to wellness treatment to help promote healthy values to your body. the staff were not forceful to me at all. They were so helpful and nice every step of the way. From the massages and great Sri Lanka food to the nutrition drinks and sea turtle watch areas, Hospitality transportation everything was great. Plus on my last day before going home I stepped on sea urchins and everyone there gave me immediate attention to the hospital and making sure I made it to my flight on time. Our main purpose was to go for Safari, and this hotel is perfectly located from Yala National Park. They even packed us breakfast at 5am, so we can take it with us to Safari. We spent an afternoon at the pool, (and had it all to ourselves which was also a bonus). The food was great, and we had the buffet there. The staff were all amazing. Tissamaharama is a fantastic base for anyone looking to explore the natural beauty and rich culture of southern Sri Lanka. It's perfectly located for Yala National Park safaris, offering easy access to incredible wildlife encounters. Beyond the safaris, the town itself has a calm, local vibe with beautiful lakes and ancient temples to discover. You'll find plenty of local restaurants and shops, making it easy to enjoy authentic Sri Lankan experiences. It definitely is an experience worth trying. The tree house has all the comforts you need but yet kept on the simple side. Don't expect much and you will get a lot. Nice food Bbq and big fire lit for you in the evening to give you a chance to relax and talk about your day activities. It was great to be left alone and the silence of the night. We were very well looked after and nothing was too much trouble.
