The property was OK for our needs a little bit large and spread out - the best part was the pool since the beach here is too rocky to really enjoy, even though there is access.

This place is a little gem! Our room was much bigger and nicer than expected and was so comfortable. The breakfast brought to the room every morning was absolutely delicious and slightly different every day which was a real treat. Ingrid was so welcoming and couldn’t do enough to make you settle in so quickly - she was an absolute star! The location was fab and very close to the old town with exceptional views which made the steps up to the hotel worth it. The beach front was also close and only 10 mins away so it really had the best of both worlds. I also loved the terrace at the top of the hotel which was a perfect place to read a book. I can’t recommend this hotel enough - you will not be disappointed!

Hotel Abaco was exceptional across the board. The breakfast was wonderful. The staff was extremely nice and attentive - truly, the staff went above and beyond to make my stay better. The room was very clean and nice. The hotel is located near tons of restaurants. I highly recommend staying here!

My stay at Hotel San Miguel with my daughter was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by warm, caring, and genuinely kind staff who made us feel right at home. The view from our room was absolutely superb—each morning greeted us with breathtaking scenery that made our time there even more special. Every meal we had was a delight; the food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. It was a truly memorable experience that blended comfort, beauty, and heartfelt hospitality. We are looking forward to come back with the whole family. The beach in front of the hotel is simply amazing—a true dream place. With blue sky waters stretching out before you, it’s the perfect spot for a refreshing swim, especially in the early morning when the sun rises and casts a golden glow over the sea. It's a peaceful, beautiful haven that makes each day feel special.

    Altea is a beautiful village with an old town center on top of a hill. It's a lively town center with shops, restaurants, live music and beautiful sea views. It's a short drive to many wonderful hiking trails and even waterfalls. I much prefer a smaller village for getting to meet local people.

    Fantastic authentic Spanish town with combination of real local native Spanish and also tourist popular and very busy old town with pretty shops and great restaurants. Stunning church and best of views. Lovely beach and promenade area. Stunning views. Good public transport.

    Pretty town with some lovely restaurants, beautiful sights and gorgeous cobbled streets. Very steep in places but that was good for us as we never normally exercise on holiday! A relaxing place to be with lots of shops and some historic sites to see.

    Altea is a beautiful place to visit for its setting, it's creative shops and it's hospitality. The choice of restaurants are excellent and the ambience of the whole area is very attractive. It is also a very complex environment which makes it difficult to move around easily.

    Altea's Renaissance District is well worth a visit, views are amazing. Little boutique shops are great, spent a fortune in my head 😆 Hotel is a 10min drive to decent shops/restaurants, so unless you want to chill at the hotel all the time, a car is recommended.

    This apartment is not located in Altea but a short drive away. Altea is lovely, good places to eat. Apartment located in between Altea and Calpe so is good for visiting both. Calpe has wonderful sandy beaches. Both have good free parking areas.

    The hotel was within walking distance of the tram stop in Altea, located across the road from the beach and promenade made it perfectly located to explore the town. Exceptionally clean room with a fridge and safe which was an added bonus. Tastefully decorated room & bathroom. Shower was suitable with good pressure. Enough hanging space for a few days clothes too. Decent amount of plugs in the room, including on each side of the bed. Bonus points for offering me a towel and chair for the beach as it’s a rocky pebble beach!

    The property was very spacious with 4 seperate bedrooms allowing for privacy. The balconies and terrace were a nice luxury to enjoy the stunning views to the sea and close by surroundings. The property was nicely decorated and was very comfortable for a group of 6 people. The old town was a short walk away which had lovely cafes and restaurants for alfresco dining. Clare was available instantly to give directions to the property. A lovely villa to stay and explore beautiful Altea 😎
