- From $115.60 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 527 reviewsGreat shower, bathroom is huge. Very comfortable and despite being on the Bass Highway I had an undisturbed sleep. Reception staff were super helpful about where to get dinner because the hotel was closed next door. Worth staying here alone for the view of the sunset and breakfast at Kilcunda General Store, which is about 100 metres away. Would definitely stay here again when passing through.Guest review byKathyAustralia

The access to a private beach with a small non patrolled swimming bay was rejuvenating for morning dips. The wildlife around and in the property was plentiful - koalas, echidnas, wombats, galahs and more.Guest review byWayneAustralia

Great central spot for our visit to Philip Island...
Great central spot for our visit to Philip Island attractions - Penguin Parade, Nobbies, Vietnam Vets Museum ... all great places to spend some time. As well as visiting some lovely places to eat! Didn't make it to the Markets ... maybe next time!Guest review byHeatherAustralia - 10.0
Portside boat hire allows you to enjoy cruising the boat...
Portside boat hire allows you to enjoy cruising the boat from North Arm heading west passing Bullock Island towards Bancroft Bay. You will enjoy the view of the Entrance from the boat despite you are not permitted to head towards the Entrance. Then get back on the road to go to the Lakes Entrance Lookout. This gives you the bird eye view of the route that you have cruised along with Entrance in the backdrop.Guest review byPatrickAustralia - 8.0
The Gippsland Performing Arts Centre and Latrobe Visitor...
The Gippsland Performing Arts Centre and Latrobe Visitor Information Centre are excellent - in a large modern open space building with a cafe. Stellina (Italian) is a classy restaurant in a lovely setting and there are many restaurants and something for everyone. For a day trip the Gippsland Plains Scenic Drive is very pleasant (the rail trail is good too). There is plenty of parkland to enjoy a walk. The retail precinct is quite large and the town is large enough to have most of what you may need.Guest review byAnonymousAustralia - 10.0

Very spacious room, clean and comfy, fully stocked mini bar ,great selection, only problem I found was getting in and out of shower which was located in bath , nothing to hang on to , safety hazard. But overall a great place stayGuest review byJulie - 10.0
We found the buisness staff friendly.
We found the buisness staff friendly. Sale had a lot to offer. Lovely lakes within walking distance and parks to enjoy a picnic or quiet moment taking in the wild life. The weather was surprizing for this time of the year.( late July) The town has everything for all kind of travellers. Could have syayed longer and will be coming back to stay a little longer.Guest review byPamelaAustralia - 6.0
Warragul has friendly people.
Warragul has friendly people. It is a rural supply town, dairy farmers and the retail that supports that, yes there’s a hospital and a few schools, but it’s not a tourist town. It’s a stuffy, rather well healed piece of Burwood transplanted into Gippsland. Maybe harsh on my part as an ex local of West Gippsland - it’s just not that exciting, warm porridge thrills me moreGuest review byChase - 8.0

What I liked and appreciated most was the friendly and helpful staff. There was nothing wrong with our room or the amenities, it was just not the nicest stay we had in Australia. There was just nothing special about the area the hotel was located in.Guest review byMarciaUnited States - 10.0
Mallacoota was decimated by bush fires a few years ago .
Mallacoota was decimated by bush fires a few years ago . Amazing to see how well it has recovered even though the scars will remain. We visited a few beaches and as older people our favourite was Quarry Beach as there are amazing rock formations and lots of rock pools to explore..We had a very good meal at the local pub but otherwise self catered. You do need a car or bikes to get around the town.Guest review byCeliaAustralia - 10.0

after an 8 hour drive Inverloch was a welcome holiday spot. Even though it was school holiday time it wasn't too crowded. The weather was very good. Beaches great lots of variety. Plenty of choice for food.Guest review byEricaAustralia - 10.0

A relaxing destination with lovely views lovely restaurants and a wonderful cafe I enjoyed called Ginnys .Beautiful Raymond Island is a 3-minute Ferry Ride away to an island full of beautiful walking tracks, views and native Australian animals. Highly recommend Paynesville for a quiet destination to visit with gorgeous Gippsland Lake views.Guest review byAngelinaAustralia
