The beaches were a breathtaking sight, pristine and well-maintained. Access to the children's playgrounds was effortless, and there were ample toilet facilities conveniently located nearby. Only need a day to see the sights in the city, plenty to see in surrounding areas. A car is essential to get around. Car parking in city centre is difficult. New to Newcastle and glad I stayed at Newcastle Beach. It was very much off-season but loved the views and landscape ( esp .compared to the city centre.)
