Super clean beaches, everything is walking distance, plenty of shopping options and restaurants in the area with great food, and you can drive on the beach for a fee. We are natives to the area and love Daytona Beach; however, I would love to see local law enforcement start ticketing aggressively for those that litter! I always enjoy the boardwalk and the Saturday night fireworks show! Being able to drive and park on the beach was a unique and convenient experience. The area feels safe, the atmosphere is peaceful, and there’s a great balance between quiet spots and lively areas with restaurants, shops, and entertainment. All the police is safe , but too much police on road is very distracting and very dangerous for drivers trying to actually watch for safety . It’s chaotic seeing multiple people being stopped within a 1 mile distance. There’s already too much people on the road during peak hours and heavy police presence on road driving is not helping .
