This locally-owned hotel is part of where the US Forces had been stationed, so within a few blocks are basic support shops from that time: a very nice (but pricey) Edeka w/ drinks store, clothing, drugstore, etc. The hotel itself has grown over time into a 3-building complex connected by an underground passage that goes to the reception/breakfast area. Staff speaks English, for the most part, and is willing to assist travelers with questions. 24-hour front desk. Fob entry to buildings & rooms. Breakfast was certainly a high point: vegetarians will get their money's worth, as well as omnivores. You can use the coffee machine or ask for a pitcher of filter coffee, and you can order eggs made your way (scrambled already provided on the buffet). One of the breakfast people must be from the far east, as we had plenty of fresh eggrolls and chicken-pineapple skewers. I would look into staying again, unless I find something better (see other section)

What would be helpful to others would be a map of where the particular property was which I managed to view from a very helpful neighbour showing all the properties in this area as I was struggling to find the property in question.     we only had two nights in Furth but found the city hall and...

    we only had two nights in Furth but found the city hall and Jewish museums fascinating . There is great public transport and good cafes and old style Franconian restaurants . Easy to walk round but then the U-bahn can take you straight in to Nuremburg --- but please explore Furth, it's a great little town !!

    Luxury hotel in the middle of the forest.

    Luxury hotel in the middle of the forest. We had a lot of fun. At the bar, we ate a really delicious steak like never before in our life, I wholeheartedly recommend them to everyone. The bed is soft, the rooms are clean, the breakfast is plentiful, the hotel is big and the parking is free. I would recommend it to everyone.

    The room is quite big. We booked a family room, it has two spacious beds, two tables, a small fridge and plenty of drawers. It is located nicely near shops (Lidl, pharmacy) and cafes. Nearby there is a bus station and transport connection is pretty good. Towels, shower gel, parking right near the hotel - all good. It is located quite close to Playmobil, 17 min by car, which is the best quality of this hotel.

    Everything. Vicky was a great host, the apartments were spacious, modern, comfortable and clean. The location was great. Supermarket around the corner, as were tasty resteraunts. Train station was 5 minutes away. Furth is a nice city and only a few stops away from Nuremberg. Also nice. A hidden gem, will stay here again.

    We stayed in a room with 3 people. The room is spacious and nicely decorated. Air conditioning temperature is comfortable and quiet. The hotel has nice facilities of indoor swimming room, gym, sauna and steam. The only thing that is not good is weak wifi signals inside the room.

    The room was a suite with a living area and separate bedroom. These were a good size and the beds were comfy. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the main railway station and the underground to Nuremberg. There was a good selection of food at breakfast.
