Ruse is lovely city , not too busy but I lot to explore.Unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy long walks as before as we were surprised by the extreme cold weather-snowed twice in April.So for anyone visiting the area always be prepared for any weather conditions…As last year same time was over 30 degrees!We found lovely pizza restaurant Roma ,definitely worth eating there -very tasty and lovely atmosphere.Out waiter Philip was very welcoming and attentive!Guest review byGalyaBulgaria - 10.0
A very beautiful city on the banks of the Danube River,...
A very beautiful city on the banks of the Danube River, although parts are a little run down. Its architecture appears to be influenced by Vienna and Budapest, upriver, and as such quite different to other Bulgarian cities. There is a lot of history here and the city centre is a lovely area to stroll and relax day and evening. Many dining options around but, like most of Bulgaria, the smokers seem to get preference for the best tables. If I was to return to Bulgaria one day I would definitely like to return to Ruse and spend a bit more time exploring the surrounding area.Guest review byAndrewNew Zealand - 10.0
