Amazing Family Getaway in Aqaba, Jordan I recently had the pleasure of spending three days in Aqaba, Jordan with my family, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charm of the city and its stunning landscapes. The highlight of our trip was definitely the beach. The water was incredibly clear and calm, perfect for a relaxing swim or enjoying the sun. My kids had an absolute blast. The gentle waves made it ideal for them to play and swim safely. We also had the opportunity to snorkel and see the beautiful underwater life, which was an exciting adventure for the whole family. The weather was absolutely perfect. With warm temperatures but a cool breeze, it was a great escape from the heat. It made our time at the beach even more enjoyable and allowed us to explore the city comfortably without feeling overheated. Beyond the beach, Aqaba has a rich blend of culture, history, and hospitality. We enjoyed delicious local food, and the people there were warm and welcoming, making our stay even more special. All in all, Aqaba provided the ideal mix of relaxation, adventure, and family fun. Aqaba is one of the most beautiful places to visit in jordan and if you travelling with a limited budget i recommend to stay at any hotel witout travel agency and you can visit all the aqaba facilities by your self it's easy and safe to walk and drive, the southern beach is clean and safe for swimming and you can book a diving tour with guide with low prices also you can book a JETT bus from amman to aqaba for 15$ per person "one way" And The high way is safe to drive.Guest review byhaitham - 10.0

Aqaba is a friendly city, excellent facilities, historical and modern. People are friendly, taxis are abundant, Ayla resort definitely worth visiting and Ayla golf course. Aqaba is not as fancy as Eilat, it's neighbour.
Aqaba is not as fancy as Eilat, it's neighbour. However it affords splendid views over the Sinai mountains, has glorious sunsets & a host of good seafood restaurant. Wadi Rum & Petra are easily reached, but a day trip will be too much, so a night at a bedouin camp is suggested. Local taxis are metered & cheap. Great vibe in the city, with people and music in the streets all hours of day and night. A day-pass for a beach club is your ticket to a heated pool, on-site restaurant and other activities. Be careful of taxi drivers who offer to help you with anything you need; all inquiries about prices for trips are waved away with 'no problem', (while they suspend all activities of their actual job to be 'at your service'.)
