We really enjoyed waking along the old canal trail ,= a minute from the hotel , also sitting in one of the chairs provided, at water's edge watching the Niagara Rowing Club go by., so relaxing. Short 12 min drive to Lock eight in Port Colborne. Supermarkets and eateries are within easy reach.around Welland Great new shopping mall along Niagara Road, . It has a full size fridge, so great for our needed nutrition for the race (being able to freeze water). Check in was smooth and friendly.
