I recently stayed in this hotel and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is clean and has a decent-sized room, which made for a comfortable stay A standout aspect of my visit was the service from Ahmad. He offered superb guidance, especially when it came to the Petra trail. Ahmad took the time to explain the best routes, what to do, and the options available, which made much easier and stress-free. He was always helpful and, most importantly, honest about what to expect and how to plan my petra tour. Overall, I was impressed by the cleanliness, the comfortable room size, and the genuine, helpful hospitality from Ahmad. If you’re planning a trip to Petra, this hotel is a solid choice, and you’ll likely appreciate the thoughtful guidance you’ll receive from the them.

Really lovely boutique hotel in Petra. Up the hill ... so better to have a car to get up there and then down to the town centre. Staff are really lovely. Rooms are generous in size. Very nice and calm location with view of the sunset.

During my stay at Anbat Midtown Hotel, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Ammar, who went above and beyond as a host. From the moment I arrived, Ammar’s knowledge of Petra, Wadi Musa, and Jordan was exceptional—he not only picked me up from the bus station but also dropped me off at the end of my stay. He personally arranged and guided me on a breathtaking desert tour, sharing fascinating insights about the local culture, history, and must-see spots in the area. His warmth and dedication made my trip truly special. On a broader note, I want to emphasize how incredibly safe Jordan is, even with the ongoing regional tensions between Iran and Israel, and Israel and Gaza. The people here are exceptionally hospitable, welcoming visitors with open arms. I felt completely at ease at all times. In fact, visiting now—during the low season—has its own advantages: prices are lower, tourist sites are less crowded, and you get to experience the country in a more authentic, peaceful way. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting Jordan right now, and if you do, staying at Anbat Midtown Hotel and connecting with Ammar will make your trip unforgettable. 10/10 experience!

Location was amazing and so was the atmosphere - including the Cave Bar with great food. Rooms were great and well appointed, with wonderful view (we got an upgrade on arrival!), food was perfect during breakfast and also in the Cave Bar; we could sit outside in a “cave” with a portable heater. Staff was kind and accommodating. They just let you enjoy the place and no one is rushing you with breakfast although we came in at the last minute for breakfast service. Nice, hospitable and accommodating hotel. I would stay there again for sure if we come back.

I loved the place, very authentic and you can feel the simplicity in every corner, staff were so friendly and ensuring you have comfortable stay. Common area and dining hall have great view of the village. My friend and I did a private tour and it was amazing and very affordable. witnessed sunset and headed back to the hotel. The food was so delicious. Variety of traditional dishes with ( with vegetarian options too). Room and bathroom were basic but clean. We had a great time. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

Probably my rating or comment is not suitable for every travelers as foreigner but living in Jordan for long time. Definitely, I need 5 star hotels in Dead Sea or Aqaba to refresh myself and my family regularly. But Dana is a great place to also have regular visit as it is located within 2.5 hours range from my home in Amman, and to experience this great nature in reasonable expense. After over 10 years of staying in this country, as a person like to sleep under the millions of stars, Dana is most frequently visited location at the recent years of my life in Jordan.

we have encountered fraudulent behavior on the part of the accommodation operator. after making the reservation via "booking.com" we arrived to the location - meeting with the resort representative "Ahmad" we were taken to another camp resort ( very old, nor matching the pictures during the booking, empty ) being told that the other "camp" is full... but 1 room could still be found - as long as we're happy to pay double price. We accepted as we're in the middle of desert. But this was clearly deliberate fraudulent conduct. Our recommendation would be for Booking.com not to keep contractual relationship with such accommodation providers.

The village has been abandoned and then rebuilt as a hotel. It sits above a valley and has a stunning view that goes all the way to the Dead Sea. The very friendly Musaad made sure that everyone felt welcome and helped. He also set up a guide for our trip to the nearby Sela' fortress, which is a very interesting Nabataean site. A beautiful spot away from the crowds of tourists, a chance to see the real Jordan.

Petra is always a magical place in your imagination. However it does not compare to the real thing! No matter how vivid your imagination! You need at least two whole days if not three to really enjoy the sights of Petra. We stayed a short distance away from the visitor center closer to the town centre where there are lovely restaurants and a more local vibe. It's better to take it easier and absorb the local culture and ancient history.

Great location right next to little Petra and 5 minutes from Petra. Suggest you take a car to the top (Rear) of Petra and enter near the monastery then walk down hill towards the entrance as it is a big day of walking. Hotel has lovely staff and very helpful. Every night was a large outdoor fire with tea service and music while the hills had lights on them for great photos. Suggest spending two nights in this hotel min maybe 3-4 nights to experience all the surround areas.
