This property has a lot to offer, to be honest! Out of all the other hotels around, this one will have the best value for your money. Here’s why: Breakfast is absolutely delicious. Plenty of seating and you can tell they made it fresh. You leave feeling replenished, not sickly. You know that sickly feeling you sometimes get after eating breakfast? Well, usually I can’t eat breakfast or I don’t really feel all that great. Here? I did not get that feeling. They offer unique amenities that other places don’t. 5:30 kickbacks has popcorn and snacks, and drink vouchers. You get new ones everyday. The indoor pool and hot tub was lovely, though the pool was colder for my liking. Thanks to the hot tub, that wasn’t a problem. Staff was super polite, room was super clean. The front desk greeted us like they recognized us which is nice to know they put effort into making their guests feel special. The view is gorgeous. Not only this, but this hotel is located close enough to Pittsburghs all-to-offers without the absolutely insane traffic. With it being located right on the coast of the city in the outskirts of the best parts of Pittsburgh, your drive will be nothing to complain about! Free parking. Not walkable, but if you have a car, this is your hotel, because everything about this hotel was convenient for me! ❤️

Rita was kind, sweet, genuine and always greeted me and made me feel at home. She was constantly smiling and her dedication to customer service is so genuine! Rita is definitely an asset to your organization!!! Love her! I enjoyed the delectable breakfast, the dinner and the free drinks! The food was so delicious! Amazingly well appointed. They’ve thought of everything. We were able to check in early and check out late and there was easy to use bag storage as well. Our questions were always answered immediately and kindly through the app. The bed was comfortable (supportive and plush at the same time) and the air conditioning worked well. We appreciated the handwritten welcome note, suggestions on things to do, snacks and drinks that we could purchase (high quality), good shampoo/conditioner/body wash), and spaciousness. Location was perfect. Quick walk to most of the historical sights. 11 out of 10!

I was born and raised in Philly so I can't talk bad about it...

I was born and raised in Philly so I can't talk bad about it. We are a big city with a small town feel because each section of the city has their own flavor and experiences. Being a city with five or more colleges residing, winning sports teams , Go Birds, museums for the birth place of our country as well as the famous Rocky Steps, and after that you should be hungry so please help yourself to well known Philly cheesesteak, in beef, chicken or vegan, water ice, and you have to have a pretzel. Summer in Philly is where we shine especially with the celebration of the 4th. So come visit Philly so we can bestow some Brotherly Love and sisterly affection, just a word of caution, never talk bad about our sports teams, lol.

Pittsburgh won’t be one of those places people would choose to visit without a specific purpose but please think again. The place has a city appeal but with a more intimate and friendly vibe. Lots of chic shopping areas, coffee shops and interesting sights, museums and visitor spots! At the confluence of three rivers thermos a wealth of history combined with modern buildings. The city has more bridges than Venice and the walls along the river are beautiful.

Despite the facility being rated “excellent” on Booking.com, our experience did not reflect that. At $130 per night, the quality was quite disappointing. The finishes and materials throughout the property felt cheap and low-quality. The in-room AC unit was extremely loud, making it difficult to rest comfortably, and the toilet flush was excessively noisy—especially disruptive in a smaller family room. Basic amenities were poorly provided; essentials such as soap and toothpaste were either missing or insufficient. Additionally, the entire property, including the guest rooms, had an overwhelming chlorine smell, likely due to poor ventilation from the pool area. Overall, this stay did not meet expectations given the price point and online rating.

If you want to relax, the paved trails along the bay in Presque Isle State Park are for you. If you want a beach, there are miles of beaches - some with concession stands, changing areas, life guards, some without. Sarah's at the entrance to the park has ice cream, foot long hot dogs, chicken tenders, burgers, drinks, etc. A little chaotic when busy, but it flows surprisingly well. You can rent bikes, boats, etc. Plenty of shopping opportunities in plazas close to park and, of course, the town of Erie.

The PSU campus is absolutely gorgeous. The architecture is something to see. The brick work throughout campus makes it so classy and the sidewalks lead you everywhere! We used a GPS to wiggle out way throughout the campus. College Avenue is fun to walk, the shops, restaurants and bars are many. Don't forget the Creamery and Meyers Dairy! Great town for a weekend getaway!!

It has been many years since I visited Wilkes-Barre... maybe 30... Though it was not the destination, my wife and I found a lovely Thai Thai restaurant. I found the local drivers to be a bit rude and unconscious, like they were in a much bigger city than it is. I would return for sure.
