There are very nice bars, cocktail bars and restaurants in Dassia, with very friendly staff. The beach is just average, so it also depends what is our reason for travel. But the proximity of the bus allows us to go both to the north and to the south, as well as to the ferry terminal, Corfu City and the airport. Taxi rates for these distances are around 40 eur. It's a nice place, rather quite, but with all the facilities and good connections thanks to the bus number 7 (both to Corfu town, Gouvia and Ipsos) and green bus stop to Aqualand and Palaiokastritsa. Dassia is a very good location with amazing beach, tavern and water sports. Ta Diktia, a tavern with delicious food and very friendly staff. The two 5-star, beachfront hotesl are sufficiently set back to give an airy, tree-filled feel - not 'built up' - to the village. There are many great quality and great value restaurants and bars. My impression is that you could have curate a holiday to suit you - party it up, or have a very peaceful relaxed time. The entire settlement is suitable for vacationers. However, there is almost no architecture here, except for a few well-maintained villas. The nearest beach is perfectly equipped, clean, offers all kinds of entertainment and a large selection of bars. I especially recommend "Leonidas grill house" near supermarket Joy. Locals eat there and it's the best recommendation. "Andreas" is also a great restaurant with fresh food right on the beach. We enjoyed cocktails and juices right after getting out of the water at the "Scheria Island" restaurant, but food there was so so... The entire settlement is suitable for vacationers. However, there is almost no architecture here, except for a few well-maintained villas. The advantage is convenient access to the center of the island, Curfu-town, even for those who do not drive. Here you can book such services as boat trips with a barbecue, visiting other beaches on the island, as well as bus trips to other settlements on the island, which will diversify your vacation. There you will find history and architecture. You will be accompanied everywhere by beautiful views and enough comfort.Guest review byDalia

The facilities look brand new , the pool is huge with great sun loungers, always ones free, the pool bar is lovely and very spacious. Breakfast is great, and optional dinner for 12 euro. Couldn't recommend this hotel more for East Side of island. We arrived after midnight but the host was waiting for us with the keys and showed us around. She also arranged taxi for us. Vaso was very helpful with every request we had. You can feel that they take care of guests. In proximity there's beach Dassia which was the only sand beach on the island that we visited. Opposite the apartment is scooter rental, which we would recommend, even 50cc scooter will take 2 people almost everywhere, it gives more freedom than a car. She works as a tour guide so if you want to discover the beauty of Corfù, I recommend you to join one of her tours. The hotel is in a very good position, just 50 m from the nearest beach and only 20/30 m from some amazing wild beaches. The restaurant of the hotel has fresh and delicious fish. We also enjoyed conversations with her at evenings and of course company of her cat Romeo. She welcomed us with some snacks and wine and baked some kind of pie another day.
