FAQs about hotels in Valencia

A Walk Through History

As the city that brought paella to the world, Valencia is a culinary delight. Don't miss out on sipping fresh, local orange juice or enjoying tasty tapas in a sidewalk café.

Wandering this relaxed city is like taking a walk through history. From the Roman remains in the archaeological museum to the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences, the architecture ranges from the dramatic to the sublime. A mix of styles from the outside, medieval Valencia Cathedral comes into its own inside. The gilt carvings and vibrantly-painted dome are a sight to behold.

The greatest triumph of city planning is the Turia River Park. Created on the bed of a redirected river, it provides much-needed shade in a city with an impressive sunshine record. Of course, you can always cool down on the fantastic beaches, lapped by warm Mediterranean waters.

Former hosts of the European Grand Prix, Valencians take their sport seriously and so they should. Try to take in a match at the 75,000-seater Valencia FC stadium to experience the electric atmosphere.

As Spain’s 3rd largest city, Valencia has wild nightlife, so if that’s your cup of tea, city center hostels are a great choice. Alternatively, Booking.com also has guesthouses, central apartments and even hotels near Valencia Airport.

A brilliant place to visit for couples and families.

A brilliant place to visit for couples and families. So much to do, the historic centre, brilliant bars and restaurants, the modern buildings and aquarium and fantastic beach. All linked by trams, buses and the lovely green river bed that you can cycle or walk along.

Valencia is a vibrant, practical city with a mix of modern and old architecture and many attractions: Oceanographic Park, Science Museum, Silk Museum etc. which is exactly why we visited, we didn't go to the beach. However it's streets don't have the level of of character that other Spanish towns and cities have and although I had heard of it's many menu del dia bars, we must have been looking in the wrong places. We were not disappointed, we will visit Valencia again.

It was our 2nd visit to Valencia, and we stayed for 10 days (previously a week). Yet, there is so much more to see in this beautiful city. You can take a stroll along Turia gardens - a pleasant escape from the heat of the city. Apart from the no-brainers (City of Arts and Science, Torres de Serranos, Mercado Central, Valencia Cathedral, etc.), one can explore the many Jardins of Valencia - from Royal Jardins, Jadin de Montefort, Jardin Botanico, spend a day at the beach or appreciate the stunning modern art collection of Hortensia Herrera in a magical renovated palace worthy of it. Do not miss a visit to Albufera and El Palmar to enjoy the nature and the stunning sunset over the laguna. Alternatively, there is so much more to discover in Valencia region - from charming coastal towns (Altea) to mountain villages which date from the Middle Ages (Guadalest). You can enjoy the hot springs and waterfalls of Fuego des Algar - but don't go there in the peak of summer as they are overcrowded. The caves of San Jose are a must - you will enjoy the boat ride in the longest underground navigatable river in Europe! Whatever you like, be confident that Valencia can cater for every taste :) Enjoy!

Beautiful city with lots of places to visit and easy to walk around or ride the bicycle. They have a special beach where dogs can run without lace and you see lots of them having fun. Renting scooters, e-bikes or bicycles is quite easy, the foodmarket has excellent fish to buy and cook.

The hotel was located essentially on the beach. It was close to lots of gorgeous restaurants on the beach front. The buses and trams are located within walking distance (<5mins) Staff were very friendly. The room was kept very clean. I didn't have a room facing the beach, but it had a lovely balcony to watch the sunset. I noted previous comments about noise levels, I didn't have any issues during my stay, although I did bring Earplugs just incase. Overall very enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend.

We were “upgraded” to a 4th floor sea view room , however personally I believe that the 1st - 3rd floor rooms are better as they have larger balcony’s with sun loungers. The rooms were spacious, very clean and comfortable. Buffet breakfast was really nice , although a little expensive. The hotel is located right on the beach front, so long walks are possible with plenty of near by cafes and restaurants to stop at.

The accommodation is directly on the beach, restaurants are close by and are very good, both in terms of price and selection. Two bus stops of the hop on hop off bus are also very close to the hotel. This is also very positive. Overall, we had a good time, the reception staff is very nice!
